If that is the case it was not done very covertly. It would appear that it was probably done this way to send a clear message.

Could it be possible that it was meant to be covert but someone sniffed it out and called the bluff forcing them into coming up with this cover to save face?

What was the likely cargo in your opinion?

I came into this thread solely because of a rediculous statement about the Russian people being safer than the US. Which most would agree is far from the truth.

Now im called a Liberal, spineless, ashamed. Ha, you promote cutting balls off, yet im the one who, "you having nothing constructive or intelligent to add." Your idea of intelligent to add, is "terrorize the terrorist". Im not a liberal, but my god, your so polarizing how do you ever expect to get your point across?

NOWHERE in this thread did I say, the Russian people are safer. I said, "the Russians don't F around with terrorists".

God forbid we cut the balls off of people who cut American's heads off, and post the video on the Internet. How could we be so mean and heartless? I'll bet if we send them flowers and a Hallmark card, they'll quit being so mean.

Now, your ideas for stopping terrorism?

well define "aren't the target of terrorists very often". To me that that means not often which is absolutely not true...

How to stop terrorism? That's alittle vague and hard to know where to start BUT heres some of my Ideas.

Mop up war in Iraq, try and convince Obama to get a plan in Afghanistan, and make that the focus. Make sure the world knows were still the good guys and not as "ball hungry" as the terrorist. Now do you feel like giving us your fully detailed foreign policy?

As for the spelling, well getting called a spinless liberal, tends to cause heated typing, thus forgot the spell check.......

My fully detailed foreign policy towards terrorists? There is no forgiveness. Attack America, and the wrath of The Great Satan will come down upon your head. We will send you to Hell. We will send your family to Hell with you. We will make you wish your ass had never crawled down off your camel.

I'm not a big fan of US troops doing the dirty work either. Park those Navy ships in the Gulf, and make them think it is raining cruise missiles. When terrorist nations learn the life exchange rate is about 100,000 to 1, they may rethink their actions.

I wont lump those who oppose the ultimate solution as liberals, it is a hard idea to swallow. Even Alexander abandoned the idea.

America has mustered a conquering army and ten years looks like a likely time line at this point.

They are one of the best trained units in the world, but their life is made much easier due to the rules they do not have to follow. Plus most are borderline psychotic and have no remorse or guilt for what they do.

On the flip side its also a glaring weakness.
