Yeah, I thought that was pretty low of them. The dude was obviously hurt then he took a shot to the ribs. Dabo cares about his players.

If he doesn't have a concussion you're not going to stop a playmaker from going back in if he's able. He can do it all.

There is a bit of ridiculousness though. Compare the media narratives.

College player gets rushed out of the medical tent back on to the field= He’s tough and relentless. An inspiration to his teammates.

An NFL player gets rushed out of the medical tent back on to the field= This is what’s wrong with the NFL. Modern day slaves! We need to protect the players.

I’ve watched several of there games and Shipley. Yes I’m sure he gets banged up like all players do ! But for me he’s more about the drama. If you watched the USC Qb. who one the Heisman with his drama. (Same thing) and I’m not saying that they aren’t good players. But it seems to carry over about being about…hey look at me. Yes they’re competitors and want to play but it gets tiresome for me.!

Pretty rough grimace after the 2 point run. I don’t think he carried that ball after that. He played, but more as a decoy and an ole blocker for the freshman qb-almost got him killed.

This Dabo hate is really interesting.

He blazed the trail that Heupel is trying to follow for lifting a program into the top tier.

Shipley will enter the portal and end up at Tennessee. HUH??? Dabo is pizzing off his own players. His starting QB is just the tip of the ice berg.

Shipley found out right quick that they weren’t playing Furman, SC State or the other pansy teams of the ACC that they usually play. The Vols hit him early and often. He’s tough, for sure, but looking at him on the sideline, he had enough by the 4th. Clemson sort of coasts through the season because nobody challenges them. They have the eye candy for ESPN and others who influence the CFP committee. Then they back into the playoffs by winning their conference championship game, usually over a much inferior opponent from the other division. It’s pretty much the perfect combination, because swinney is a god on that campus. There’s football and then everything else, which is why they suck in most other sports. They can build facilities and really hit it off with mom when players come on their OVs. Sure, he has recruited well, including against Tennessee, but it’s because of those selling points and at a time when others in the region were down, like UT and FSU. The fact that UT effectively neutered that offense, especially with Trevor Lawrence 2.0 behind center, and put up 31 on that vaunted defense, bodes well for the future, especially when you consider FSU is on the upswing and will challenge them in their conference.
It is a great time to be a Vol!!!

This is true. Shipley was probably not aware initially they were going for two. Shipley is a man for sure. No way he wasn't going back in.

I’m not a hater on Dabo and I’d rather see him win it over Bama or Georgia. But he certainly benefited from the demise of The Fulmer Haters!!!! RIGHT HERE ON THIS SITE ! I use to listen to there sports channel all the time on the radio when I was in the area. At the time there was a lot of chatter everywhere on Dabo and the team. When Fulmer was back stabbed by Alllll the negative fans on this site and the sports writers…plus the big money ! Fulmers loss and Dabo’s fortunes….Fulmer had a top 5 class and some thought it could’ve been the top class…Dabo got Taj Boyd and the rest is history….Clemson became a dynasty and we alllll now know what it cost this university!!! Tennessee lost out on so so so many kids that grew up as Tennessee fans…that it made me sick back then and now ! When this happened I got into it with a lot of people on this site. Cussed them out and got tossed from the site. Which really was a blessing for me because I was able to focus on my life. These fans knew so much and who they HATED or wanted and these fans cost a lot of bad history…! PURE IDIOTS ! So when you say the word hate…I know what these fans on here really know how far to take the meaning of HATING…lol

The University of Tennessee was the reason for their demise in everything, not just football. Glad we have good people back in charge from the top down.
