Didn't you just move from Cali back to TN? I need updates.

Yes, last August. Couldn't get my business going here. Very few legal jobs and low pay. Started looking back in CA and found a job pretty quickly. Love TN and will always be home, but not a good job market here for me.

SDV, this is only a suggestion , contact the Nashville Auto Auction in Mt. Juliet, TN 37122 phone number 615-773-3800.

They are a wholesale auto auction. They should be able to suggest someone or give you a list of good reputable auto transport companies.

Sorry, but I can't help you in that time frame.

Also sorry about things not working out in TN. Good luck on your relocation and new job.

Yeah, I understand completely. I would love to live in TN as well, but the type of engineering jobs I can get there do not appeal to me as much. Kinda sucks. Good luck on your move.

You should put an ad on Craig's list for someone to drive it out for you. What could go wrong?

I've had a car I purchased shipped to me - it is a bit of a pain. It's like moving, the scheduling is built around other cars they have to pick up and drop off.

I'm not saying you should have a bud drive it out but if the 2000 on the car is what's stopping you I wouldn't let it. 2000 miles will have no effect on the value. Plus, a week of LA traffic will be harder on the car than a cross country trip unless your bud secretly entered the Gumball Rally

Not back to San Diego - too bad. Did you ever make the Aero Club?

I found a company to ship it. No, not SD, got a job in LA. I never made it to the Aero Club, but maybe I will soon haha

I know that, but that doesnt get me to South America.

You just have to get across the Darién Gap, it's been done before, but like I said it takes some effort. Between the swamps, jungle and FARC, it might be the toughest 125 miles in the world, but people do it. The rest is just on the Pan-Am Highway.

Got my buddy to drive my vehicle and follow me in the moving truck. Gonna make it a better road trip and cheaper.

Plus I need my vehicle as soon as I get out there. A lot of the shippers said 15-18 day estimate.
