Shocked! Shocked I tell you.
Yea, that's what I'm referencing. The number is probably pretty close, but the breakdown is where it gets disingenuous. For years they frame it as x number of people who were minding their own business and then wrongfully killed against their will by someone who had a gun.The number is accurate if I recall correctly, but that is all gun related deaths, including suicides and accidents, which are the vast majority. It is misleading to use it the way Beto did because it makes it seem like 40,000 people are being murdered by mass shooters per year.

If someone wants to have an honest talk about issues in America they should start by being honest themselves.
I joined Twitter a few years ago and deleted the account the same day. If it wasn't for VN and Reddit I would have no clue who is tweeting what, and I'm cool with that.Twitter like anything else is bad if you get wrapped up in that garbage .
I just finally joined FB to keep in touch with family that are all out of state. I’ll never have a damn twatter account it’s a wasteland.I joined Twitter a few years ago and deleted the account the same day. I wish I never used FB to stay connected with friends that live out of state, otherwise I'd delete it too.

Well I screwed up from the start following various news agencies and politicians. A big part of it too was that I never liked the setup of the platform.Depends who you follow and why. If you join to follow politics or news, it'll make you hate people. But if you join and follow parody accounts, it brings a very hilarious view on things. Guys like Barry Mcockiner, 3yearletterman and RamLover69 are outstanding follows.
Barry changes his setup from time to time and tricked Skip Bayless into think Harden had a man boob problem
3yearletterman is a Georgia fan that boasts about being a legendary youth football coach which leads to other hilarious brags like owning a DVD collection of 287 DVDs or unlimited laser printing privileges. He uses these brags when someone gets pissed and tries to call him stupid. He has a following that by into the parody so it's funny to see.
RamLover69 associates everything with owning a dodge ram and has been blocked by porn stars.
Then theres Walter (Owen's Grandpa) is also funny if you dont take it seriously.
I hear you. I got trapped on youtube at work in DMT experiences and Ayahuasca documentaries.Well I screwed up from the start following various news agencies and politicians. A big part of it too was that I never liked the setup of the platform.
I've used Reddit for years, mostly lurking, but I'm on there far more than any other site, even VolNation. I always liked Reddit because you can go down some awesome rabbit holes of info. I randomly stumbled into the r/Alaska subreddit last night and ended up reading the damn thing for two hours.
I'm not saying this guy isn't a trump guy. I'm saying last week when it was a part Iranian, and his family were big supporters of the Democrats certain people were crying about not making it political. Today, not so much. The Gilroy shooter looked white to me. I think you're confused - apparently the el paso shooter was a trump guy.
