Should Dungy play 1st string?

I say play for the championship, I 'd hate for Manning to miss out on a ring like some other greats (Marino comes to mind) just to beat a record. Besides that the #2 guy needs some snaps just in case, but I would not consider it until home field is locked.

I say let them play. I don't want to watch MNF game where the Steelers beat up on the Colts second string team. It's all about me and what I want. :victory:

Beats me! If it's not a lock, why are we even discussing this? I've been bamboozled.

Absolutely play the first string... and they should the entire game up until the last or next to last weeks of the season.

Tonight should be a really good game if Roethlisberger plays. Indy's defense is starting to crack now that they're playing the better teams.

I think he should play them to a certain point. If they get up by a lot to the Cardinals then they should but in all those back-ups.

I don't care what they do as long as someone beats them !!!! My Dolphins are the only team that should have an undefeated season! :realmad:

The only real reason I wish the Colts would go undefeated is so we'd stop seeing those old geezers from the '72 dolphins popping their champagne and lighting their cigars every freakin' year, get a life...

They don't want their record broken. If you were one of those "geezers" on the 72' team, you would be joining them!

Don't you celebrate everytime the VOLS win? If so, then you do celebrate when other people fail. The other team fails to win. You are contradicting yourself.

I'm happy for the Vols winning... the '72 Dolphins could care less who wins, just as long as someone loses.

There is nothing wrong with that when you are wanting to keep a record for your team. They have started their own tradition of celebrating their undefeated season every year. I don't know what your problem is with that. Maybe you are too young to know what tradition is all about. Since you called the team "old geezers", I would say that I am correct.

According to your profile, you were a few months old when they made their run, so I trust you caught all of their games as well.

It's hardly "their" team anymore... unless there are a few of the guys from 1972 still playing that I'm not aware of.

It wasn't my intent to argue about this. Obviously you're a fan and have a slanted bias. I find their yearly celebration old and annoying, and I'm not the only one. Tony Kornheiser, and admitted "old geezer" said just today that maybe when they get together to celebrate with their champagne and cigars that they'll probaby get carried away and break a hip.
