Well it doesn't matter to me whether Randy goes or stays. I have said this many times that the offense WILL NOT change with a new offensive coordinator. The offensive coordinator reflects the head coach's wishes. Fulmer (and all head coaches) will have the offensive coordinator that coaches and calls plays to their liking. Also, Fulmer has the head set on and hears every play that is called with the option of changing it if he desires. Now if the new offensive coordinator should be a better teacher in practice, etc. it might make a difference but there would be no significant difference in the offense or play calling.

Eli Manning...

Oh, I forgot, he decided to go to Ole Miss.

So Cut had nothing to do with the DEVELOPMENT of the Manning Bros?

Do any of the Randy Sanders naysayers really think he did a bad job in the 2nd Half against LSU. Any doubt that existed that Randy couldn't make adjustments were surely cast assunder with turn about in Baton Rouge.

In my 60+ years on this earth, 7 of which were spent coaching football, albeit Junior High, I have always found people in the stands who are eminently better qualified to coach than those who spend there lives doing the coaching. Most of those critics I have heard over the years couldn't distinguish a zone from man, an I from a winged T or a Tackle from a defensive back.

I hope that some of this b##l S##T stops. If everyone knows so much more about coaching than Fullmer, Chavez and Sanders, let them apply for the job.

I was just answering a question as to why we scored more points when Cut was OC. Nobody said a thing about PF when he was coordinator, until you did. What conversation are you replying to?

did the Vols really score a lot when Fulmer was OC? I remember his offense has being VERY conservative--surprise! Fulmer was the OC when the talent-loaded vols of 1990, I think, with about 5 future NFL players on offense, lost to bama by the score of 9-6. Six points with a offensive unit loaded with talent: Umm, what does that remind me of. Fulmer is a former lineman--and while he's done great things for the program, I think he's rather clueless about how to organize a dynamic offense, which is why he hasn't sacked RS. :banghead:

No, he sucks......no way he should coach on a Top 10 program's staff. He is consistently the worst OC of any top D1 program in the country...If you like ranking in the 100's in total offense then fine, but not me.

Lex, you got a point to Cut and the Manning's. But I will admit, I know nothing of the football mechanics, All I know is our offense blows. the only person I can see responsible is the coach. That goes with my military background. The snowball rolls downhill, and to a point, I guess it lands on the OC. All the way from the top down. But the guy at the bottom gets screwed. So thats where our anger is directed.
