He's been crushed with UT losing this season...every Saturday he's sad but:
- if there is a team that for worse at a much larger scale than us year over year, that's Kentucky
- if they beat Vandy, they will be fighting for a bowl game, though last year that didn't matter
- knowing Dooley is gone for sure, may motivate these guys to play well and get some revenge on him

So should I risk it and take him hoping we win and he is once again a happy little Vol fan?
Can I get two lower level tickets for $50 lol?

More appropriate for a wife or girlfriend. It will be quiet and intimate with not many people to bother you.

The best memories are ones you share with your kids....Win or lose make it a special day....You will probably be able to get tickets for $5.00 - $10.00 a piece from scalpers.

Yes, and save the ticket stubs. There's only gonna be one Derek Dooley farewell tour. I hear Sal Sunseri is opening for him.

Took my two children to the Mizzou game with my wife and parents. Despite the loss it was memorable. It was my son, Peyton's first Vols game. He is three and loved it. My dad has degrees from both universities and it was memorable to see both his favorite teams play. Great experience.

Yes, you should always take your son to any Vols game that you can.

Win or lose you can always create special memories for both of you.

Teach your son to appreciate winning. Teach him the value of learning from adversity. Teach him that a father/son relationship is important. Point to those blue folks so he can see what happens if he doesn't listen to his dad!

I had trouble giving away tickets for the Troy game

The one good thing about Dooley is that tickets are cheap. I have taken my fanily to the last 2 games for free. I bet you will be able to get lower level for less than $20.00 a pair. If I get tickets gave to me I will PM you and give you a pair.

Most definitely yes take your son. Maybe Bray passes for 500 yards or something historic besides another defense record maker. Enjoy some great seats on the cheap because when the winning starts again they'll be ridiculous.

If Hart has not made the call to fire Dooley, I would think it would be an ideal time for people to go if they usually have trouble coming up with the extra cash to go to a game. I would guess for less than 20.00 you would be able to buy (4) together and actually lay down and watch the game. Maybe bring your own hammock and an end table for your drink. Good Times!!

Kentucky will be a great game to bring kids to. It will be cheap, not hot, not crowded, not loud, parking will be easy and you can leave whenever.
