Should Scotty shoot more?

Yes, Freak, yes! Build the offense around getting him looks and drives by setting picks and screens all over the court. If he is not open he or the point guard should dish to Harris who sees the court well and can then shoot or dish to the 3 point shooters. Everybody else play garbage clean up on offense; play defense; and rebound like crazy men.

Scotty is a focus of defense for every team we play. It's no secret our offense is extremely limited. When Scotty works on offense he can get open and is a good player. Problem is, he takes long parts of games off. Watching him is incredibly frustrating because he physically and mentally "gives up" way way too much.

If Scotty is playing hard, yes, he should shoot more. If it's the "stand around and wait for everyone to leave so I'm open Scotty", no, he shouldn't get anymore looks.

Yes he should shoot more, but we should be getting him better looks. Everyone on this team plays with a fear of not getting the ball back, and I cant say I blame them when we have a PG that seems to enjoy dribbling the clock out and shooting 3's

Our passing to the open man is often late or non existant, and it causes guys to not want to make the right pass. Scotty often gets the ball and looks to score subconsciously or consciously I dont think he trusts anyone getting him the ball in a position to score and feels he needs to create on his own.

scotty definitely needs to get the ball more when the game is on the line. I would much rather scotty taken the shot against Florida than melvin.
