Should Steele call....?

Completely different situations IMO. Almost an entire coaching staff leaving 3 weeks before signing day and calling recruits that are already on campus about to attend classes in ~12 hrs has to be unprecedented. Assistant coaches leaving and stealing a recruit or two happens every year at multiple places.

If they are not EE's then no I don't have a problem. All is fair in recruiting, what O did was call kids already enrolled or on their way to enroll.

Coaches switch staffs all the time in college. The manner that they conduct themselves during that transition period is what defines them as "honorable" (as honor goes in recruiting) or "snake".

Orgeron capitalizing on a decimated staff (No HC/DC/RC) and attempting to contact kids who were already enrolled is entirely different than Steele contacting Clemson's yet-to-be-signed recruits after he's been announced as UT's DC and replaced.

Amen brother.

I don't think we should call any La Tech prospects or Clemson prospects.JMO.I don't think we need to anyway. They should be going hard after chaz green, john cullen, and another good OL.Also since michael taylor is gone, they should put the full court press on corey nelson and christian jones.
