It also seems like it will get leaked eventually. If it's bad, let it happen now and Trump can jettison him. If it's bad and comes out when he's actually AG, it will be a fiasco.

Neither exoneration nor violation are the standard for release. They have nothing to do with it.

There are about 24 people the Office of Congressional Ethics transmitted a referral to the Committee on Ethics for investigation since Biden took office (not a partisan statement. I had to choose a starting point bc list goes back to 2009).

Start with the insider stock trading.

Finish with the slush fund they have been paying off sexual harassment claims.

If Gaetz had sex with a child or trafficked a child he should be prosecuted.

That's sort of my thinking. If the Dems really want to go down this path, Trump will use it to his advantage.
