Maybe the dynamics of this Gruden deal have escaped you. Maybe his shenanigans have escaped too.

I see nothing right now that leads me to believe he gives one iota about UT athletics. He botched the Summitt situation, even though I agreed with his reasoning. He let this situation get out of hand and we're behind the curve on this whole thing. He has known Dooley was incapable of keeping his job for a long while and been courting this Gruden piece most of that time. It's now become a debacle.

Read the news about this. Either side of it paints him as incompetent.

This is a really stupid thread. The real blame should go to the people who foolishly bought into every rumor. You can call those people "Gruders".

I made a comment in one of the Gruden threads a few days ago that GIANT egos may end up killing this whole thing.. Those egos are on BOTH side of the negotiating table.. It appears that's what happened..

Why do we CONSTANTLY feel like someone should feel sorry for our plight? Stop being victims and get on with it. I would love to see him come back next year when we are 10-2 and looking awesome then we can rub it in his face. He could step on the field and get boo'd.

BINGO!!!! The so called Grudenites brought this mess on, and stirred the pot to a high boil.

It was enjoyable for some, but those that drank that Kool-Aide are suffering now....it shall pass.
