Just to recap - Tennessee terminates a coach with cause, (a coach who has been more than happy to sling mud), exposes and self-reports multiple impermissible behaviors, goes through multiple years of self-imposed sanctions, endures a multi-year investigation, faces said terminated coach in hearings and manages to come out with only a decent amount of mud to wash off the program, has a clear road ahead and an up-and-coming coach building on an 11-2 season ... and your plan is to go jump back IN the mud with that terminated coach and roll around some more?

I'm genuinely floored. I can't even.

Hate the loss of the scholarships. Lost any financial sympathy when they gave Gordo Phil a 2nd round of charity. They played a stupid game and the 8 milion is the stupid prize. Soooo apparently this website now won’t let you say F_at Phil so I’m reduced to saying it in Spanish.

Yeah, this. I don't ever want to hear his name or see his face again. . . even if it's in that goofy babushka.

8 Million is a very hefty fine, no matter who you are. It is absolutely NOT fair, nor appropriate for UT to have to suffer further financial burden from the mess created by rogue employees.

Absolutely not. It was Fulmers fault along with Pruitt. He was the AD and made the hire. I promise you the AD department is very happy right now. It really could have been so much worse. And Pruitt is getting his, although it doesn't keep him from coaching in the NFL.

Correct me if I’m wrong but UT hired Pruitt right?

Many on here spewed vitriol over UT’s decision to self-report and own up to what Cornbed and his minions did. Many said it was stupid not to make NCAA prove the violations. Appears those violations would have been easily proven in light of the idiotic texting going on amongst the staff.

UT administration handled this fabulously.

It's chump change for UT. They find that much in change on Sunday morning in the goo under the seats at Neyland

Tie him up on the Vol walk and let everyone that walks by kick him in the fork.
