Do Pruitt and wife get a permanent ban from any McDonald's location. Promise to never use their bags improperly? Sadly young mister Hiatt(sp) has to see him on Giants sidelines.

No....I am more than ready to move forward
Exactly, you don’t want the bad press. And Pruitt’s lawyers could use discovery to try and uncover other cheating.

The more interesting angle to me is the fact that Saban was trying to hire Pruitt last year. I wonder if Saban is trying to keep Pruitt in the fold to make sure he doesn’t go rouge and start talking about the Bama recruiting methods. You know that Pruitt and Kirby learned these recruiting tactics from Saban. Where did cornbread learn this system? He didn’t just invent it one day. This had been Bama’s m.o. since 2007 and going back to the Bear, Stallings, Dubose, etc. The only possible clean coaches Bama has ever had are Bill Curry, Franchione, and Shula. And they were all run off or “chose” to go elsewhere.

Just to recap - Tennessee terminates a coach with cause, (a coach who has been more than happy to sling mud), exposes and self-reports multiple impermissible behaviors, goes through multiple years of self-imposed sanctions, endures a multi-year investigation, faces said terminated coach in hearings and manages to come out with only a decent amount of mud to wash off the program, has a clear road ahead and an up-and-coming coach building on an 11-2 season ... and your plan is to go jump back IN the mud with that terminated coach and roll around some more?

I'm genuinely floored. I can't even.
Not ‘erbody vury brite……;)

Time for a kick ass ..... Bake Sale. Let's wipe out the measly $8m in 30 minutes. What would YOU be willing to pay for a nice homemade slice of Banana Bread???? Hmmmm??

Just let it go.

Like Mom always said, living right is the best revenge. Right now this team and staff are living right and looking forward as we all should be.

Pruitt knows what he did and has to live with that shame.

Not only would it be a bad look and bring more attention to something that’s taking years to put to bed, the state suing individuals for damages is a slippery slope.

UT was going to have to pay the money.
Either you pay cornbread and hope nothing surfaces. Or you do exactly what the University did.

Heupel is being unfairly punished.
We are very lucky that the NCAA didn't throw the book at us. Heuple know what was going on and accepted the job knowing what could happen. He is being well compensated and our football program is recovering very well from the disaster he agreed to. Our football will be very good and I am amazed he has been able to get our football where it is now. Let's be thankful for where we now are and where we could have been. Moaning and groaning will only hurt our future recovery. The attitude of our Athletic Department, football program, players, and coaches are the corner stone of our recent success. We need to keep that same attitude so We can continue to improve. The other teams in the SEC have accomplished a lot of negative recruiting concerning the possible negative outcome this issue and we finally have the opportunity to show the recruits where we stand and what the future will look like. Accept our fate and get it off the table. Our opponents are now even more afraid of what they will have to face in the future. Please quit stiring the pot for the benefit of our foes.
