Should Vols go to "no visit" commitment recruiting policy

I think I've heard the coaches say that if a commitment is visiting other schools they don't consider them committed. I don't think they'd pull their offer but if they have an opportunity for an upgrade, you could lose your spot. Cecil Cherry is an example.

I'd love to go to the "no visits" recruiting policy.

Also, I hate good recruiting classes

Here in Atlanta, Paul Johnson at Georgia Tech will not let commits visit other schools. If they do, he pulls their scholarship offer.
He says it wastes his time and messes with his recruiting strategy if he has a commitment that he no longer can truly count on, if they take other visits.

Should Vols consider doing this?
Pros? Cons?

No.

No. Teams that do that make themselves look petty and insecure, like they're trying to hide something. It proves that a coaching staff isn't really looking out for the best interests of recruits and their families. As TennVols93 pointed out, it deters players from committing, possibly slowing down a team's momentum on the recruiting trail. Finally, how would such a policy actually be enforced? Would we seriously revoke a scholarship offer from an elite prospect who wants to join our team but insists on doing his due diligence by using all of his official visits? Dumb, dumb, dumb.
