So glad we had Pruitt call Michael Pennix's coach and tell him we were honoring all our scholarships for Tyson Helton to call back later and tell him we weren't...nothing like trading a top 300 Pro Style QB that wants to be here for the kid from Cali that's barely top 1000 and is committed elsewhere...SMH...what a cluster *****. Combine that with the LSU gm mess and I'm losing some faith here.

I don’t think anybody (including Saban) knows what’s going to happy on the early signing period. Its a learning experience for everyone.

No need for concern. One, (99.9 % sure more than one), will sign with us Dec 20-22 who are either still uncommitted or committed elsewhere. Kids who plan to sign early, and who are currently uncommitted, don't want to spoil their big moment by announcing a day or two early. I expect us to sign in the 10-14 range early, and close really strong in February. Most of the highly rated / highly sought after players will wait until NSD, giving our coaches who already have relationships with them time to turn them. I fully expect some Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Auburn recruits to flip to us on NSD. In fact, I'll be shocked if that doesn't happen, and I'm confident I won't be shocked.

Anybody heard an update on Cade Mays decision? Hard to believe a diehard UT person would completely turn his back on the university unless there's something else going on behind the scenes that we haven't heard about.

Kinda hard to be concerned that we didn't get any commits when we don't know what we got yet, except for Kingston Harris.

Also, commits flip. We want NLIs.

Why are people making comments as if the coaches don't know the kids they are offering. Trust me the coaches had relationships with nearly all of the kids from the school they were at before. The ones they don't, that's why it's no sweat to see them go elsewhere. Ie the quarterbacks that decommitted. I'm gonna trust this guys talent evaluation based on previous classes he's recruited.

Many of them were already committed elsewhere. Probably wanted time to reconsider or talk to schools already committed to and tell them before committing elsewhere and letting them hear it on the news. We got a lot of positive feedback, so that is a good sign these coaches know what they are doing.

Of course. We're used to having the bottom fall out from underneath any thing good to happen to our team. So worry. Always.

I just said I would be surprised if we signed any of the players we had not been in on before BJ was fired. I hope we get 4-5 of them bur getting them tomorrow is a long shot. Long shots do happen and I hope they do tomorrow or in February.
