So I had a couple of coworkers bring this up yesterday. They want us as healthy as possible for the dawgs, but I said they were crazy. What say you?

Absolutely not..KY is healthy and a top 25 team. They also have a very good secondary. For the life of me I don't get some fans overlooking them. If our players take that mentality Sat and look ahead to GA, we will get beat. We are far from unbeatable. Even when our Secondary is healthy, they are still really bad. And they have an NFL high draft pick playing QB. I hope we beat the brakes off them but not counting on it.

I think rest the most severe cases. Don't know what they are but I do think Tillman should get some run to get him back in the flow of the offense.

This is UK not UT Martin. All hands on deck for this one. Gotta have this one to keep the dream alive. We can recover from a loss to UGA. UK...not so much. A must win IMO.
If we win the East is likely the only way we make it to playoffs. Therefore it is more important to beat the Dawgs

If you want to get to the playoffs, you need to win every week. Georgia doesn’t matter at this point. Only Kentucky does. Once you beat Kentucky, then only Georgia matters and so on. Take care of each week and eventually you will end up where you want to be. Never let the next or last game you play beat you.

Best case scenario is we blow them out in the first half. If that happens, then you could bring in the subs in the second half.

I doubt it happens, but I wouldn't rule it out either.

Better odds of FL - GA going to overtime or having a long delay for weather to tucker out the Dawgs.

This is what worries me about Kentucky. I only hope the team is not overlooking them like some of our fans.

It is always great to provide starting players with some rest after dominating an opponent.

However, this isn't necessarily going to be one of those opportunities.

Vols better be prepared to bring their best and execute.

I am so glad that those of you agreeing with this mindset can only post this on this site. The coaching staff would look at you like you guys are crazy and the team would probably remove you "gently" from wherever they are. This staff doesn't even overlook cupcakes, hence the extremely high of points and yardage we have put up against them.

In a perfect world we could be up by 3 possessions early and limit time for guys that alittle banged up. But this is the only game besides Georgia that we have a chance of losing in a year we're in the playoff race!

ALL HANDS ON DECK!!!

Play everybody that’s healthy for Kentucky. I would rather lose to Georgia than to Kentucky

I think KY's game plan will be same as last yrs. Run, dink and dunk passes and make 12 play, 10 min drives for scores. Their goal is to limit the number of Vol possessions, hence keeping the score within range. Not a bad strategy. Hyp and company of course will know this. Just have to score every time we have the ball unless D can make some stops. I don't see this happening, think their QB will be running for his life but it is a good plan.
