Shout out to the crowd tonight

Georgia fans in front of us left early because the noise was hurting their daughter's ears. She was crying throughout the 3 quarter.

I may be evil, but this made me laugh. Parents are probably a couple of puss&$%.

They had the camera on the UG players while they were on the sideline and one of the assistants had his fingers in his ears.

Loudest it's been since 2004 probably. Was a great game. Hurts to lose but we're close to getting there I feel.

The fact that the vast majority of fans in attendance cheered the team as they left the field speaks to the passion of this fan base and the love they have for this team. Just awesome.

Got to admit, the more she covered her ears and cried me, my son, and even my sweet innocent little wife got louder.

I know that's bad but, served a couple purposes. Helped fire up my Vols and pissed off her parents enough to leave.

Hello leg room.

I wasn't there today, but was it louder than the first half of the Florida game last season?

I was at both, and tonight seemed louder. But I was under the overhang in lower level so I was 60 rows from the field. When UGA was on defense in the second half, it was loud. Great atmosphere.

Great to hear Neyland was rocking
Does anyone know exactly how loud it got in decibels?
I'd imagine it was beyond deafening.

95% of the crowd stayed and cheered them boys as they left the field...

I've never been more proud of our fans when this happened.

Florida last year didn't even come close to the energy or sound level of tonight. The were moments of pure pandemonium.

I agree with the one guy that said he kinda forgot how great it could be. Tonight just gave me a warm feeling inside. Reminded me when I was younger going to games such as 2004 Florida game. Neyland truly is special on nights like this and it is good to be reminded. Let's just hope it becomes week in and week out again

CBJ Quote: "I think what we learned is we need that environment. We're going to need that. I need to challenge everyone. I need you to come to the South Carolina game. We're on winter break and our team needs it."

Lets show even better support in 2 weeks!!

I am still hoarse. The atmosphere was electric. Everytime I thought it couldn't get any louder, the volume went up some more.

The fact that the vast majority of fans in attendance cheered the team as they left the field speaks to the passion of this fan base and the love they have for this team. Just awesome.

Around us, there were so many people in tears while it was going on.. You could feel how hard that team was playing to win that game. I am not ashamed to say I shed tears, not because they lost but because they were trying so hard to win for themselves, us and Butch.

Someone asked how it was on TV. It was phenomenal. Also, for what it's worth, twitter was full of comments about Neyland: Fowler, Cowherd, ESPNSports, and quite a few others commented about how loud it seemed to be at Neyland. Like others have mentioned, it gave me goose bumps in the 2nd half. Neyland (and the fans) put on an absolute show, it was awesome.

Also, one of the 5 star recruits tweeted 'IT'S SOOO LOUD!!!". (No, I don't follow him, don't even know his name, someone retweeted it)

I live in Indy and pick 1 game a year to get down on Rocky Top. Sadly, this was the game we were going to, but we decided last minute to skip out this year with a 5 month old changing things a little bit.
