Also any mtv show glorifying teens getting pregnant.

Thank God I'm not the only that sees how bad SOA is. Even worse are the idiots that try to act tough while wearing SOA gear.

Nope that ruled. When Armstrong told him it was too hot to go to the sun, and he replied back "why don't you just go in the winter" was pure gold. Also him showing how homoerotic frat boys are during spring break was genius. SBC has the biggest balls. Still this is another case where I can safely say his humor is not for everyone.

I was getting frustrated with the obvious stupidity of everyone in SAMCRO and my wife goes "did you really expect Rhodes Scholars in a small town motorcycle club?" Made the show alot better with that in mind.

Tosh does homoerotic stuff and he's hilarious. It's not that type of humor, it's SBC. He's not remotely amusing to me.

Ali G show was really good and it was fresh. His interviews were amazing. Borat was funny in 8 minute snippets. Bruno was alright. All SBC's movies were lame.

My sweet wife watches "Once apon a Time". If I happen to walk into the room while it is on, she will pause it and commence to explain in detail the episode, who all the characters are and background.. etc.

I think she does it on purpose just to abuse me mentally and emotionally. She knows I do not give a crap about it, but she makes a point to include every stinking detail.

If she was not smiling so sweet and lovingly while doing this, I would have snapped by now and run out of the farm house cussing and take a head first dive into the wood chipper.

Such is the life of “Empty Nesters” on a secluded farm…..

Country music award shows. I LOVE country music. Unfortunately, I can't remember the last time there was more than maybe one country song on a country music awards show.

I was watching the HBO series Sonic Highways (Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters record a song in different cities each week) when they was in Nashville. Dave Grohl talks about going to the CMAs (he was playing drums for Zac Brown), and how he thought he was going to see some great musicians playing there. Instead what he got was nothing but pop crap. He was greatly disappointed. He did decent job of pointing out what is wrong with modern country (to me it is the worst music being made today, and I love real country and bluegrass).

I don't remember what act preceded the Zac Brown/Dave Grohl performance, but it was the only marquee moment of the CMAs last year. It stole the show by miles. I want to say it was the George Strait/Alan Jackson tribute to George Jones, but don't quote me on that. Anyways, it was the equivalent of letting a one hit wonder perform after the Beatles. There was just nothing that could follow that performance.

Just scrap entire networks. I would get rid of Bravo, E, MTV. I would only keep the basics for games. I have roku so I honestly don't know what's out there anymore which is a godsend.

I'm with you 100%. Never have I been a big fan of country, but Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, etc. that's the good country to me. I can't stand this stuff that tries to be in between. Twangy pop music. The don't write songs like this anymore:

Oh, if we're talking about wives, then it's football, no question. She thought she was a football fan when she met me, but I watch 2-5 games on Saturday and all day Sunday.

The good thing is she's a legit basketball fan, so I don't catch hell for watching NBA.
