More recently...
Lost (started watching the season one DVD during the off season between season 2-3)
The Office (it was on season 5 before I caught up on Netflix)
East Bound and Down (watched 1st season OnDemand before 2nd season started)
30 rock (3rd season was airing while I was watching the first 2 on Netflix)

Come to think of it, I don't watch anything when it first airs anymore.

Friday Night Lights. Never watched it when it aired. Borrowed the box set from a friend, finished it in 2 weeks.

i keep hearing i've got to give those a watch but i just haven't gotten interested in them enough to even start

i just over the past 2 weeks have gotten into reruns of House. i've finally gotten ahold of some of the seasons now and between watching some of them laying in bed and here and there, i've halfway through first season in a couple of days

Cant believe I forgot to mention Freaks and Geeks.

Watched the lone season in January. Shame it didn't catch on when it originally aired.

because of my work schedule, I've missed out on a lot of TV shows, but thanks to Netflix, On Demand and just buying seasons on DVD:

Supernatural
Battlestar Galactica
Enterprise
Grimm
The Walking Dead

Angel...watched the reruns on TNT or TBS...cant remember which....but they aired in order which was nice....

Raising Hope....funny show

Big Bang Theory....watch every night now

X-Files; I watched the entire series on Netflix a few years ago.

Most shows now I don't watch from the beginning. Lost for example I watched all previous seasons the summer before the last one.

That's pretty much how I am too. The Walking Dead is the only show in recent years I've watched from the series premier and kept up with from week to week.

Some I still let a few episodes pile up before watching them like the Office and 30 Rock (I think I'm a whole season behind on that one).

I found The Office and Big Bang Theory this way. Both of them were on TBS and I just started watching and couldn't stop. Now I catch them every time they are on.

Anybody like "My Name Is Earl"? Didn't start watching that until it was already cancelled. Such a shame, it's a pretty good show.

Friday Night Lights. Turned out to be one of my favorites. I sorta count Scrubs because I didn't start watching until Season 6, which is when the show started going downhill. Same with The Office. Scrubs and The Office are my all time favorites now.

This is pretty much where I am as well. The list of shows I've watched once the series has ended outnumber the shows I watch new 10:1. Currently watching season 4 of The Shield.
