This weekend at the Shriners is the test for the team and individual players. Glad we're playing ETSU, I think we're going to learn something we didn't previously know.

Our Vols play the #1 team in the Country this Friday with nothing to lose. I personally think we win all 3 this weekend and move up in all the polls.
Why do I think this? Pitching, Defense, and an Offense that can hit with leadership. I think the experience this team has will factor in a lot of big games this year. This team just knows how to win. Even if we don't win, this will be a Great Weekend of baseball and will be a great experience for these young men!! Go VOLS!!!!

Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma have a more difficult task playing Tennessee, LSU, UCLA.
That said, I wish Tennessee was playing a worn out Texas 3rd instead of a fresh Texas first.

It takes practice. So many replies get posted up in a quote block. When you back space into the bracket it creates problems. Just retype whatever is missing from QUOTE, then the bracket. Then hit enter a few times. Whenever I open a quote, I always hit [enter] two or three times to keep me outta the danger zone.

Tony V stated on the Drive today that Burns will be the starter Friday, and he was excited about it. I'll ride with Coach.

I bet he'll have those boys frothing at the mouth to get some payback on Texas for Omaha last year, and to just show the nation that we are here for real.

I cannot wait for this game, regardless of the outcome, because it will just be nice to see how our boys perform against a team that is getting so much national attention. Our competition thus far has been pretty marginal, with the exception of a pretty good Georgia Southern. This is a big one!
