Arkansas is in a bad position and I just don't see how they can keep him. They school or Bobby) can't allow her to keep her job, between the wife and the fact she scr#wed her boss she has to be fired or at least moved to another department.

In either case the school will open itself up to a lawsuit it can't win if Bobby is still the coach. Then again they might just pay her off and it all goes away, except on the recruiting trail.

I think they find a way to sweep it all under the rug. Some on...who hasn't banged a chick 25 years younger? We ALL do it! Let he who is without that sin, cast the first stone.

Personal life aside, he is one of the most brilliant offensive minds in the game. Not surprising.

This situation goes beyond just having a piece on the side. When you start lying to your AD about having an affair with university employee that you yourself hired, then you have problems. I'm not surprised at all that UA fans want to keep him, but I also don't think they grasp all of the legal ramifications of the situation. And that brings us back to the all powerful mantra of college athletics "winning cures everything." At this point, as long as they win, coaches can pretty much survive anything unless it deals with sexual or domestic assault.

Not really sure you guys are in much of a position to say what other programs can or can't do about supporting or firing a coach.

you guys had a coach who won the right way, was never involved in stuff like this, won 70% of his games, won 9 or more games 10 of his 16 years as your head coach..........and you ran him out of town on a rail because "he couldn't beat florida" or "he didn't win the SEC title every 5 years."

I'll point you in the direction of the Fulmer Debate o Rama thread in the Football forum to address your point. Lot of crazies ranting, but in the end his lack of results on the football field and recruiting trail cost him his job. Plain and simple.

Maybe you need to check what Fulmer's record was in his last few years along with his recruiting and lack of discipline of his players on and off the field.

It was only a matter of time before some self-righteous gator troll decided to chime in regarding Fulmer.
