SIAP- Dooley after the game (PIC)

Tell me Saban is a serial killer without telling me he's a serial killer.

I just love these challenges.

It was the night before Halloween. The Krispies triplets had just nodded off into deep slumber. Old Nick snuck into their room, and lifted one of them in his arms, then proceeded to snap the child's neck. So as to not awaken the other two. He then went to the second child, lifted him and proceeded to squeeze the little thing with all his might. On hearing the bones give a soft crackle as they broke, he put the child back down. No longer concerned with awakening the other two, Nick pulled out his Glock and popped the last child in the head. He fled the scene and hid beneath the bleachers in the Bryant- Denny Stadium. There he plotted his next triplet adventure, and the one after that. Poor kids, not his victims, but the kids nationwide whose dismay at the triplets' passing results in them no longer able to enjoy Rice Krispies for breakfast.

Bama overcame having Kiffin on their staff, even overcame Butch......but not even Saban can overcome having Dooley on his staff. Jerry Jones could have told him that.

Someone may have said this above, and I loathe Kiffin for what he did to us, but having him on staff was a good thing for Saban. Their offense was legendary and if Saban isn't stupid enough to fire Kiffin in December prior to the playoffs, bammer probably at least makes a game of it vs Clemson. Thank God Saban's ego got in the way of that one. I want bammer to lose every game and what Clemson did to them was enjoyable.

Of course, what we just did to them is infinitely more enjoyable.

Refreshing to see a VN'er not ruled by, deep-fried in, and coated with hate-ism. I think Dooley should never have been hired. Unfortunately, no one else wanted the job at the time. Considering the size of the dumpster fire at the UT at the time, who can blame them. So we scrapped the bottom of the barrel thrice - Dooley, Butch-Pruitt. I utterly detest Pruitt for what he did, and we may yet see NCAA penalties as a result. But Dooley, I feel more pity for him than hate. I think he actually tried, he just didn't know what he was doing. Butch slit his own throat by making desperate, stupid decisions. Foremost was letting his defensive and strength coaches go. That and he just wasn't even a moderately decent coach. But I don't hate him either. One shouldn't hate on the disabled [Leviticus 19:14]. Pruitt, however, willfully placed the school in harms way. That, I detest strongly.

We could have done better than a guy who just went 4-8 at a Sun Belt school, I don't care how big the dumpster fire was. GMAFB

he's eating spaghetti out of a rubbermaid. Unbelievable.

It is wild to see all these formers coming back usually with Bama. The "fireside chat" he did with Clay Travis a few years back really was impressive. Like he was several years out of the job at Tennessee and basically gave humbling reflection. I personally liked Dooley's personality. And I think he could have survived had he kept Wilcox for a third season. Oh well.

I can't hate on Dooley. Yes, he was a disaster as a Head Coach. Had some weird "ism's" and all that. But at the end of the day, he is a very decent human being with actual values. Things that could not be said about the other coaches since Phil. I'm glad he was replaced, but pray the best for he and his family.
Thank you!!! Well said. That’s class. Dooley loved being Tennessee’s coach but it just didn’t work out. It’s really weird looking at this picture. On the other side of that wall, fans exiting have no idea their old coach is eating his dinner on a concrete ledge before he gets on the bus as basically a regular Joe in a football program. It’s gotta be weird for him. The thoughts that probably run through his head…man if I had only, kinda thoughts. I got to spend a lot of time around CPF during and after games, media days etc…and these guys are on such of a pedestal it’s got to be weird when they aren’t the HBC anymore.

I need more clarity here. Apparently Derek Dooley was eating spaghetti while Alabama was losing or immediately after the game- what are the details here? I heard this on the Tony Basilio show and I could not stop laughing.

Dooley is like that buddy of yours that is completely unaware of himself and his surroundings all the time. The guy would network at a funeral if he got the bright idea to do so.

Eat while you can before Saban starts cussing him and the other coaches in meetings for a week straight.

How do they know it was spaghetti based on that pic? More importantly, if it was, where did he find spaghetti in Neyland?

Lost to LSU for being unaware that UT had 12 players on the field!;)

Dude had to get to a family reunion like RIGHT after the game. So he ran down to the locker rooms, changed into his fancy duds, scarfed down the lunch he never got time to eat before the game, and then presumably jumped on that motorcycle and drove off into the sunset, screaming something about Rommel and the coming invasion.

Go Vols!

Dooley is a terrible coach but he puts on a hilarious press conference. I hope he’s a head coach again one day somewhere just for that reason.

Nah, all players deserve better. I couldn't imagine being a finely tuned athletic machine and this fool pulls an orange ceramic dog onto the field to tell me about the game of football.

I didn’t say it would be fair and I’m most certain it may never happen. But the dude dies crack me up. As a coach he’s terrible other than his ability to recruits great wide receivers.

I hear you. I was sure it wasn't to see some of that quality Amazon Prime TNF come to college football.

To add to this, How do we know its Doolander? and why would you wear a black suit for a bus ride home, unless you're going straight to a funeral?
