Simply put I don’t see us winning any kind of championships with Heupel. I like him but he is not a championship level coach. We need better coordinators with better recruiting. This game showed Heupel isn’t anywhere near as good as we thought.

He needs to work on becoming more physical on both sides of the ball. They only have 1-2 players that will lower the boom

Damn I didn’t realize Mizzu was such a bad team … sometimes you just get beat and today was one of them not to mention this has been a bad year for injuries
What? Getting beat by 7-10 is just getting beat. Scoring 30 and the other team scoring 49 is just getting beat. We got dominated in every single facet of the game.

He’s relatively young as a coach. The biggest issue he needs to mature and overcome is the halftime adjustments.

I would love for Heupel to steal what some of the top programs in the SEC use to build their programs. That is playing smart & disciplined. Look at the silly penalty's we give up every game, often stopping drives like tonight. Like players hitting out of bounds for a 15 yard penalty and first down when we had them stopped on 3rd and long. I see Heupel just grateful to win games ( maybe it's based on the talent level ) vs elevating the program. And he seems to see the defensive game as an afterthought.
