So you're saying there is something wrong with hard work and dedication as opposed to going out, looking pretty and being the better "athelete" and having it handed to you?

no i was saying that hard work doesn't get u a starting job just handed to you. especially if another player is better. (not saying either qb is). not bashin you or anything. just my opinion

seriously. How can they start a Ainge over Rick?

if we want any chance at getting Casey and Eric's little brother, we better start showing Eric some love. Or else we will end up with another leak. No pun intended.

we shouldn't worry about loosing somebody's little brother, we lost Crissy and that turned out alright, Simms went flying off somewhere else and look how that turned out.

Still, I think nabbing Jimmy should be a priority. Think about it, if UT gets him, we are set at QB through 2012. 2012!!!

Im sure the staff will pursue him, But what can UT offer him that he doesn't know of already? It'll be his decision to make.

If he chooses else where it wont be for lack of recruiting effort.

I'm in the same boat as you.  The longer we go without a decision, the more you would think that Clausen will get the nod.  Either way though, I think Ainge will be the one that finishes.

GaVol, I hear you man. That is the way I see it. Rick will take a run for it. Then nearly screw it up. Then Ainge comes in and goes the rest of the way.

On another note, what do you do here in Middle GA. We need to hang out and watch some games. There are a ton of Vol fans here on Robins. I didn't think so at first, but there are Vol tags everywhere.

ok im going to put my 2cents worth here. every one has been looking
at the little picture here! the big pic is like this. jimmy c has been taking
trips all over looking at schools! the clausen family have sent a message
to ut we want our son to start? and he has earned the chance!!!
and will get it. now ange will see alot of playing time this year.

if any one watched the interview with ange after the last scrimmage
he knows who the starter for the uab game will be.

he is a soph and will get his chance to lead the vols to glory.

but this year we will go with the fifth year senior..
