Did anybody actually pay that much or just the asking price on Stub hub?
I’m not sure but there was quite a bit of orange there and they didn’t walk up and buy them at the gate….

Crazy how times have changed, we took our son to his first baseball game ever for the 2019 Vand-UT series in Nashville, when he was 2, and we bought them at the gate for $15 each and he was free.

Crazy part is he is not free anymore. If they are breathing outside the womb, they have to have a ticket. My 2 year old granddaughter had to have a seat every game last 2 years. Even though she was not big enough to sit in it.

I was at that game, sat in right field.

I was nervous when I saw ALL games with Feb 1, 0900 on ticketmaster. Grabbed Dayton, Morehead, and Gonzaga Saturdays.

I’m going behind enemy lines😉- Mississippi State’s single game tickets went on sale this morning as well. We’re going for a college visit there and my wife was great enough to pick one that coincides with a Bulldog series. I’m looking forward to seeing Dudy Noble and the atmosphere.

Want pictures from that weekend. We’ll see if your fan enough to wear your UT stuff. :)
I absolutely will wear Tennessee gear, even during the college tour. Probably my white polo with the power T and UT Nike shoes. I come in peace with the shared love of college baseball. And if they get rude, I’ll tell them I have a broom in my car from last season 😉

A couple questions I hope you all can answer: I was able to snag some LF tickets today. Is the playground still there? If so, can I get from the LF seats over to it during the game? TIA

Im pretty sure they took the playground out, but you can get through the concourse from the new LF area.

Dudy-Noble is jaw dropping beautiful. Concession prices are awesome too; they made a “pact” a few years ago that, because families coming out to the ballpark is what built State into what it is, they weren’t going to price families out of the ballpark. They sell Chick Fil A in the stadium and two chicken sandwiches, two waters and a bag of chips cost me $13…total. It was awesome. They give you free tall-boy State koozies for every bottled drink you buy. The whole thing is the way baseball should be. I didn’t spend more than $120 for the entire series last year; tickets, concessions, parking (free and plenty of it). I left Starkville envious of the culture they’ve built but riding high from the sweep. It didn’t hurt that @preacherman20 was passing out Kirby shirseys to all the kids like he was Santa Claus 😂. The RF burm was a #35 fan club all weekend.

Hell, I wanted to go just to try their outfield food. That setup they have is one of the best in sports, period. I love what they have.

I'm going to summarize this in to an email to UT. They need to be down there looking at how that park is managed. When it comes to consessions and in stadium experience, extracting every last dime from every single person that walks in, while simultaneously giving them less, is exhausting.

Me and my son wandered and loitered the whole outfield before the Saturday game for about 30 min hoping someone would invite us into one of the “lounges” but we never got the invite lol. The atmosphere is unbelievable all the way around and unmatched anywhere in the country. Feeding the opposing team after games, regardless of outcome, has to be one of the coolest traditions.

Those outfield spots are very expensive and don’t turn over. The weekend apartment complex beyond them is also crazy expensive. So they make their money from the upper class who want the extras.

One of their fans told me last year the waiting list for the condos is 75 deep. They’re already discussing building 12 more and they’d still have 60+ on the waiting list.

Was looking at coming down for the A&M Friday or Saturday game, or both. The cheapest ticket for Friday was 154$ plus fees and Saturday 188$ plus fees. This has gotten ridiculous. Yes I know that isn't face value but since we've incorporated Ticketmaster the dynamic pricing on face value has sky rocketed and so have the secondary market. Makes me sick to see prices like this. Who can afford this?!
