they can grow all they want, but 3 years from now Bama's DL will still be bigger because they run a 3-4 and UT runs a 4-3... especially with speed rushers like Maggitt,Henderson, and Vereen who might get to 250...Bama has DE's as big as some of our DT's... just the nature of the 2 defenses, and nothing will change it...

With the 40 second clock still in play it was apparent that Bama would begin to put more emphasis on defensive speed around the edges. The spread and HUNH has required a change of player type.

Bama picked up 5* Rashaan Evans and Christian Miller at OLB. Smaller and faster than some of the hybrid ends playing the position in the past. Getting the number 1 DE in the nation, DaShawn Hand, will continue to guarantee lots of speed coming to a vulnerable QB near you. A little downsizing but plenty of the usual suspects.

see Tusk was right, bigger and stronger does win most of the time...:)

And fast. Speed kills in the SEC. And all the big defensive linemen bringing the heat separates contenders from pretenders in all the big boy games that matter most. "As a rule."

Your boy needs to work on his holding technique. Can't get outside the shoulders or you're gonna get flagged.

A defensive guy holding??? Your boy got ROLLED. That is the kind of ROLL(ed) TIDE you will be seeing A LOT of soon. You mad...or skeered. Wait for Settle and Tuttle to jump on board. Just too many T's In those names to not be VOLS. GET SOME!

Be humble, it may not be near over. I believe it was that infamous tennessee philosopher, who today, during coach speak suggested:" Arguably, they've (Alabama) got the greatest collection of football players ever assembled for a college team."

Arguably, looking at schedules these days can make it hard for any of our competitors to be satisfied with Bama's SOS.

Yet you're looking at possible :victory: TRUE FRESHMEN starting at corner?... Is it because you keep signing runningbacks to keep them away from other teams?

Are you talking about 5* corners, Tony Brown and Marlon Humphrey? I thought we signed these two to keep them from everyone else? Now I'm confused.

You're new to watching football, huh?

I'm not new to watching football and you very rarely see DT's get called for holding if ever. In the secondary, yes. If we want to talk about holding then your OL recruit literally drug km to the ground by almost ripping off his jersey on that 3rd time matching up and then thought he won that matchup....so sad

Most of you come out of the hot dog chute "confused"...I'll try to help...with your previous classes, why are you dependent on TRUE FRESHMEN at such a vital position?...better?

Oklahoma over Bama? Utah over Bama?
I would list a regular season game if Bama ever played anyone worth a chit...

Been under a rock lately while Bama was playing in all those ChikFilA Kickoff Classics?
