SJW Culture, Pride Parades, Tolerance and such

So, TN sideline reporter Kasey Funderburg has seemingly been fired over some tweets from 2013-2014. These tweets were brought to life after she denounced another account which suggested TN fans should paint in blackface against UK.
Argue away.
Ouch, based on the comments she tweeted back in 2014, I have no problem with the call to let her go. It wasn't just one taken out of context, she went all in.

So, you aren't willing to see that an 18 year old kid isn't the same as a 20 whatever year old adult and give them a second chance?

I am, I have two kids and both know you don't put anything on social media that will come back. Second chances are needed by everyone, but to be part of the program as well as advertise for businesses its a bad look. Hard lesson learned and understand the move. Those comments now, then and decades prior are never acceptable.

Then why are they accepted by a certain group in our society? She never used the hard R and used it as a term of endearment just like they claim to. Why the double standard?
Now the other comment is worse, but it's nothing worse than some of us have heard before, coming from both sides.

I understand, common in music, comedy and movies. But as a white person common sense even at an early age needs to kick in. Also another reason social media not monitored by parents is a bad thing. When you get in the spotlight today you almost needs to cancel/delete all previous social media and start new.

Or we as adults can teach our kids to quit dragging others back and instead try to push forward together. And understand that mistakes that were made at 17-18 aren't who that same person is at 22.

I understand where you're coming from. I also understand the position her employer was put in. A few years ago an incoming freshman cheerleader was kicked off the squad for a social media post similar.
