Bama's class would have been decimated by Dooley's poaching. Hot seat rumors in Tuscaloosa would start afresh. Never doubt the orange pants.

The staff would need to order 25 copies of hooked on phonics and we would set the record for lowest APR score ever among ncaa teams.

We would get troy, WKY and South Alabama rejects.

Chattanooga favored by 11.

We would also have 10 JUCOs who play one year and split.

TN athletics would receive an award from Lysol for the most hygienic team in the ncaa.

You're fine to ask the question. It's a legit question for a message board. The answer is, as most have said, it would've been bad, certainly nowhere near a top 5 class, as the cornerstones of the class would've gone elsewhere as they all pretty much publicly stated... No Wharton, Kelly, Bates, Hurd, etc.

Thanks KB. I agree. Makes me way more appreciative of who we have at helm now. If Butch wins big here, we will know how blessed we are and I don't believe Volnation will ever take it for granted again.

We have certainly been humbled. Now it's time to rise and kick some ass!

I'd guess it would have ranked somewhere around 13th on Rivals.

Dooley had 3 classes and they averaged 13th on Rivals.

CBJ has had 2 classes and they averaged 13th on Rivals.

Still a long way till NSD, but the class ranks 11th as of today for CBJ's 3rd class.

Oh yeah, the Berry family despised Dooley from what I've heard. The Berry twins were all Auburn until Trooper got fired. There was a story circulating a few years ago that Dooley tried to get Eric Berry's car towed because he didn't have a parking pass and he showed up at practice without informing Doofus first. I didn't believe it at first but after the stuff that's come out since 2012, that story doesn't sound all that farfetched imo.
