A good friend of mine on the team told me that Worley has been killing it in practice. I know it's supposedly neck and neck, and I'm not saying Peterman has done bad, just that Worley apparently seems to be standing out the most.

No reason to have a sub pat starter this year with the 4 talented QBs we have on the roster, 1 of them will have what it takes

Not sure how accurate that is. Seems like Peterman had the better scrimmage and definitely has the stronger arm and has more mobility. Think Peterman will get better and betterwith more reps and dusting the rust off. Tells me what I need to know that the QB race is neck and neck and Worley has the game experience and isnt rusty like NP. It doesnt matter to me which of the 4 QB's wins the job. We wont have to worry about favorites being played like the last staff and getting the best players on the field.

Both of these guys might get some action early in the season, though it's early. One might separate but I have a feeling it's going to be tight competition.

I agree. I've only heard/seen great things so far - can't wait for the OW game!

All I know is - Peterman's lookin' like a boss in the video from today's practice...

Hopefully they're both tearing it up. A healthy competition throughout the spring can make both better players in the long run.

Don't know what alot of you have against Worley but he will be the starting QB!!!

Mark it down!

Havent seen where anyone has a problem with Worley. But for the offense CBJ wants to run Peterman is the perfect fit for it, with him recruiting Nathan as hard as he did at Cincy tells you that. In the interviews I have seen with both players Peterman makes himself more likeable and easier to pull for. Not saying Worley isnt, i have just seen alot more interviews with NP and he is exactly what you want from a QB from a personality standpoint. Both are talented and have things they do well. NP has the mobility advantage and a much stronger arm. He throws the deep ball better but right now Worley throws the shorter, intermediate routes more accurately. But in Peterman's defense he didnt play last year nor did he get 1st or 2nd string reps like Worley got plus the actual on the field PT against SEC teams. Obviously the Coach's will pich the QB who they think can make the fewer mistakes and manage the game better and not put his team in bad situations. I think ultimately Nathan wins the job be ause of his mobility, leadership ability and the arm to make throws Worley probably cant make. And when Dobbs and Ferguson comes in it gets even tougher for the Coach's. I will pull for and support whomever wins the job because I bleed O&W and want this thing turned around as quickly as possible.

I don't care who is standing out right now. The good thing is there is competition, and that will bring out the best in whoever is competing. May the best man win

that video doesnt show crap...seriously

We must have watched 2 different videos. I saw Peterman with a very strong arm and decent speed and mobility. Both QB's looked accurae and seemed to have good footwork from the drills they ran. Now far as RB's very little was shown on that front.

I understand the concerns. My roommate walked on this season, as some of ya'll might remember, and that's just what he told me recently. Thought I'd share but take it how you will. It doesn't really mean anything, just some small insight.

I wouldn't use the video as a reference. Reporter Patrick Brown came away from yesterday's scrimmage agreeing with OP.

Jones praises QB Justin Worley | timesfreepress.com

I wouldn't use this article as a reference for which way the coaches are going to go. "He started to get into a rhythm" "I like what I saw in terms of him" "He continues to manage the game"... Doesn't scream to me that CBJ has decided the starter.

I like that he is having a good spring. Personally, I want both to have a good spring and I want to see them compete this fall.

Worley ran the same offense in high school, so it should be familiar to him. Peterman has better wheels, so might fit it better athletically. Anyway, I just like hearing that these guys are getting it and performing.

Who was the qb in Brian Kelly's last year at Cincy? Tall, rail thin kid who never ran but was deadly accurate..
