Am I the only one who has noticed that the votes dont add up? You have to vote for both matchups, but the totals of matchup 1 are higher than matchup 2...

The Boilermaker is within about 1,000 votes after being WAY behind, like 14,000 or so. As I said earlier, I love the fact that we're the reason for that. In the finals, the Purdue mascot won't have our votes. Vote for Smokey and Purdue!

How long does this stupid thing go on? I'm tired of voting over and over only to see smokey go down to a crappy school and crappy mascot like UMASS. I think we need to coordinate a Smokey drive in the near future.

Did my part and in grand Chicago fashion, I voted several times. UMASS is up by 11k votes though. They must be cheating! There aren't that many UMASS fans out there. Either that, or the corn-fed white boys up in Nebraska are voting against us.

It's not a matter of "cheating". It is a matter that most of these online polls are unscientific and all it takes is a deletion of a 'cookie' on your computer to keep voting. Anyone into script writing can write a script that can revote on polls like this.

I can guarantee you this is what is being done. It's what happens on this and numerous other polls out there. If anyone knows a real computer geek, we sure could use their help on this.
