I know they won't do it, but I would like to see all orange vs. all red

It was either Kiffin or Dooley that requested this a few years ago and got denied by Saban. It would be cool though.

It was Kiffin. He said he would have done it any way but a 15 yard penalty would be accessed at the beginning of both halves and he didn't want to put the team in a hole.

I would not mind seeing the Smokey pants for an away game at some point. But not this one... storm trooper all the way.

Orange pants have mojo, wear white on orange. Last time we wore white on orange at Alabama, we came within a blocked FG of winning.

I want white/white this weekend but I do think smokey pants/white jerseys will look good in the near future

Can somebody do a mock-up of the gray pants with the white top? I'm trying to imagine it in my mind and I don't think it would work at all. Actually, I think it would look horrid. Maybe a picture can change my mind?

I'm fairly sure it was the visiting team in such case would lose a timeout at the beginning of each half.

I agree especially now that the orange pants curse has been lifted

If we get smoked by Bama I hope we are wearing white on white so people can see that uniforms do not make a difference. We wore all white at Florida and probably played our worse game of the year.

It may have changed. This year Arkansas State wore those grey uni's at Auburn and they were told not to. After the kickoff of each half there was a 15 yard penalty. They hadnt actually broken a rule until they kicked off wearing them. Seems like the timeout thing happened a year or 2 ago in the UCLA/USC game?

The USC/UCLA game sounds familiar. USC wanted to wear their home jerseys so they were charged a timeout. UCLA took a timeout to even things up.

Edit: The roles were reversed.

I'm pretty sure they changed the rule after UCLA and USC started doing it. You can do it now if both teams agree.
