Well what else do we have? Circle jerking over coaches who haven't done squat is worse in my opinion.

Which they split with the rest of the SEC so we actually got paid to watch bammer get a mudd hole stomped in them, LOVE IT!

I was there- had seats in the Bammer section. The fans were as flat and lifeless as the team. I had to change seats when it became obvious they weren't coming back.

I relish seeing those people go down.
This year for them was like '95 for us. We both lost ot Florida........but we won our bowl game over an OSU team that was #1 for most of the season.

Yeah, they have nothing to show for it in terms of titles but they waxed their 2 biggest rivals. If I was a bammer (the thought makes me queasy) I would be pretty happy with this season. I am not sure they will be any better in the next few years and if Our VOLS and Auburn can put teams on the field then it won't be as easy for them.

I think we also need to give Utah some credit. They came to play.
Listening to the bama fans around here they felt as if they were to ggod to play Utah and they felt as if they should have played a "better" team.

Bama was all high and mighty this year, and go into the Utah game thinking they got a cheese game for a bowl game. They ended up getting drilled by all measures of the game. There wasn't one moment the whole game I watched it that I was thinking to myself that Bama had a chance of winning that game.

Utah came out of the gate, gave a good uppercut on the chin, and Bama never quite regained balance.

It is funny, i have seen less and less annoying bammer flags around here over the last couple of weeks, couldnt be any happier!!:pepper:

Honestly I have never seen so much Alabama stuff over the years in Chattanooga until this year. I couldn't go to the mall without seeing half of the people wearing a shirt or hat. It was unbelievable. I'm proud to say that I wore my TN stuff all year, even when we lost the tough games, and i still wear it just about every day. Sad that some fans aren't as good as us. :)

I wear my UT gear without even thinking about it. I even got a new sweatshirt for Christmas from the wife. It will not replace old faithful on gameday, but it at least looks nice to wear in public.

They came on like a house of fire, I don't think anyone in America predicted they'd be that good, that fast. They overachieved to the fullest, and maybe a little beyond that.

Meyer, Stoops and Tressel won the national title in their second years with less talent than Saban had to work with. He better win a title soon---they are paying him $4.5 mil for more than just winning the SEC west.

They are probably the youngest team in the SEC. If they find a qb as serviceable as wilson was this year they will win the west again next year.

I see Ole Miss playing the deal breaker in that one...It will be LSU in the west IMO...Ole Miss will beat Bama next year to break the tie with them and LSU!

I guess it is the proximity to the line with GA/AL but Nooga has always been infested with those damn cockroaches. In the early 80's it was ridiculous. They are dirty bandwagoneers or migrant Alabamians.

Of course just like a roach they only come our when the VOLS are down. I usually give them a dirty look (see avatar) and curse under my breath.

has absolutely nothing to show for it. For some sick twisted reason I find comfort in that.

Did you not see all the press Bama got for being number 1? A division title, a BCS bowl trip, a top five recruiting class (so far), cover of SI (twice I think) and absolutely destroying rivals... nothing to show?.... ok.

They did. I've tried to go to as many Sugar Bowls as I can while in NOLA. This UTAH team was impressive in person. I don't know how it looked on tv but those cats came to play. Thier fans were great also.

I dunno about Stoops' '00 OU team... but I don't think the '06 Florida or '02 Ohio State teams had less talent than Alabama this year.
