So do we have a for sure list of opt outs?

They will probably be the only opt outs. I wouldn't be surprised if Hyatt opts out. Our receivers are good even with both opting out. Keyton has done a great job filling for Tillman and Squirrel has really come on strong towards the end of the year. Merrill has played well also the few times he has been on the field. From online sources it seems that Darnell Wright and Young are going to play. I can't see anybody else opting out.

We really don't have that many people leaving, so I can't see a ton of opt outs. Tillman for sure and probably Hyatt. I know Wright is playing, and if Young is playing, I don't see many more. Fant will most likely be playing as well.

As someone in their 40's, it's really a weird feeling to start thinking of the Orange Bowl as basically a glorified postseason scrimmage to play your underclassmen and get a sense of how they can help you next season, lol. However, I totally understand the career decisions being made by the players at the same time.

When on the field National Championship games were first proposed, everyone was warned what would happen to the bowls. I thought the old poll-generated championship controversies were actually interesting and often amusing. The playoff system has provided little in the way of eliminating controversy and I find that I actually miss the bowl games as they used to be played.

Now, get off my grass and Go Vols!

Basilio keeps saying we are gonna be very shorthanded... But Im not seeing it

Making unfounded statements is how he always got folks to call his show. It's a lot easier than actual show prep. No experience in any sport, no connections, and can't stay on a real radio station. But, he's made a 25 year career in the business, just proving that PT Barnum was right.

If I was Hyatt, i would go get a big Lloyds of London insurance policy, then go play another game with my buds in orange.
I would do the same but I would return next year and try to add some mass to my body. I think doing so would make him a first-round pick. The money from the NIL deals he has would take the sting away from any money lost returning to college for one last season. JMHO I understand if he leaves and wish him well. I just think being bigger and more physical would be a big plus. Those are some big fast guys at the next level.

Apparently, I'm not the only one who doesn't listen. For years, he had to buy time on radio stations and even then, he wasn't able to stay on the air. I'm assuming if he is still on the air, he is online only?

I tried to listen 15-20 years ago, but it was the same 8-10 callers who called in every day and there was never any real insight or expert opinions on anything. Small Mike was the smartest caller and he was just trolling Basilio every day.

Can Tony not get credentials to actually cover press conferences or get access to any players, coaches, or anyone who actually knows what is going on?

He has people from the program that writes on his blog. He has his sources, he's also on a radio station. He has alot of expert guests on from different media outlets. His show is definitely gotten better over time. He's not going to hang up in callers that question the coach or program.
