So does UK lose to Kansas State in the 1st round?

K-State is 3-11 on the road this year...If UK plays in the tournament like they did in Atlanta they will beat K-State and you'll have a good game Sunday against WSU (who I agree got totally screwed)

The way UK played this past weekend means a lot in my opinion. UK will be the best team that WSU has faced all year.

I think UK is ripe to be upset and I think I smell an upset. KSU is good I think they hang around until the Elite 8.

Kentucky loses to Louisville in the Sweet Sixteen. K-State cannot play on the road; Wichita State will not be able to handle UK's talent.

Which still means very little, considering Kentucky still sucked down the stretch pre-tourney and hasn't beaten a team of decent quality since UT two months ago.

I am teetering between UK losing to Wichita or Louisville. To me, that's more of a question of who is Wichita St than who is UK. UK has been playing some good ball since the SECT started. I think UK defeats KSU easily, but I'm no analyst.

I would not be surprised to see Wichita State fall in their first game. While I think they deserve a number one seed for going 34-0, they have not played anyone this season. Their best wins came at SLU and against UT, in Wichita. These games were on December 1 and 14, respectively. Yes, they made a run to the Final Four last season; yes, they are returning the same squad. But, prior to losing to Louisville, they only played one good team in the tournament (tOSU). Remember, they were lucky enough to draw a Pitt team that always under-performs in the tournament; a Gonzaga team that played no one last season; La Salle in the Sweet 16; then they beat a good tOSU team.

I expect Kentucky to beat K-State, since the game is away from Bramlege; and, I expect Kentucky to take the Shockers behind the woodshed.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Yeah, it's crazy that we're KY's second- best win.

Maybe he was on to something?

Odds are still high with some scary teams out there that we lose...but I like how the brackets look to the Final Four. If Michigan can beat a very hot UT team and we take care of business vs Ville we have a good chance getting far.
