So here we are with two undefeated teams and no game between them

Oregon's opponents combined record before bowl games was 63-81 and they played 3 teams with winning records. TCU's opponents combined record before bowl games was 65-80 record and they played 5 teams with winning records.

If we'd just beaten LSU...jk...good point.

It would be like March Madness in December and January! We could have brackets and everything!

Not really. I can see the big east getting the same treatment as the mwc when it comes to determining top 2.

Put the gun to most coaches or voters heads, they won't give the big east or even acc the same benefit of the doubt that the PAC 12, big xii, big ten or sec get.

Depends on the ACC team. If Florida St or Miami are undefeated I can almost promise they're a lock for the title game. Remember its all about $$$$ and those two teams garner a lot of it.

They dominated the Wisconsin game and you know it.

They also dominated Oregon state.

Before you call someones argument 'retarded' you may need to learn some basic reading comprehension.

Exacty. He just will not give credit where it is due.

Boise doesn't play in a BCS conference either but that didn't stop them from plucking the Ducks.

I'd be willing to give TCU more credit had they joined the Pac-10 or the Big 12, but they are joining a conference that just sent UCONN to the Fiesta Bowl. Lateral move when it comes to getting credit to play for championships.

LOL? Since when is winning by 9 on your homefield dominating? It was never more than a touchdown until the end.

Oregon State was hardly a quality win this year. They went 5-7 with losses to 4-8 UCLA and 2-10 Washington State, whose only FBS win was against Oregon State (at home).

They also lost half of the Rodgers bros before their landslide, who are by far the best two players on that team.

Did you watch the game? Obviously not because it wasnt on their homefield.

And they controlled that game.

Well luckily you don't have a say in the matter.

They beat Wisconsin by 2, and Oregon State by 9. When exactly did the "domination" ensue?

The game was played at Dallas Stadium. TCU is located in Forth Worth. Essentially, it was a home game.

You tried to sneak in the homefield advantage past everybody.

They 'controlled' the wisconsin and Oregon state games.

Dominated a poor choice of words possibly.

It was first game of the season.

I know... He compared it to the fact that they weren't bowl eligible, lost to Washington St., etc. James is their best player, and aside from Quizz, it's by a long shot. It would be like Auburn losing Cam Newton near the end of the season, they lose to SCjr in the SECCG and then saying Auburn has been crap all season.

Not that OSU was going to be that good all season, but the Beavers from the first five games were inferior to the team that played the last seven after James Rodgers took a cheapshot from Zona that ended his season. The moment it happened I said it would cost them two wins this season, and the losses at Washington and UCLA and at home against Washington St would have been different had he played.

I completely agree. A simple misunderstanding on my part it seems.

Milo, you really think a wide out can make up the 17 point difference? Look at what he did in the first few games. It really wasn't that impressive.

You should know statistical production doesn't necessarily amount to anything.

For most of his recent career, Randy Moss had to be doubled up even though he dogged it and didn't do squat.

Players like that change the complexion of games whether or not they are statistically impressive.

They're overrated. They skidded by Wisconsin, and other than that, had no other wins of significance.

They shut Wisconsin's "high powered" offense down for all but two drives. They're more than legit. Deal with it.

TCU's record against SEC teams is 8-22-1 (three wins against Vandy). TCU does not belong in the NC game if their not in a BCS conference. I mean they have had 13 years now to join one, I am going to guess the reason they have not already joined a major conference is because they know they can't compete every week.

Every school wants into a major conference, dude. Being competitive isn't as important as the $$$ you can get.

Schools can't just "join" a new conference. They have to be invited. TCU has done this very strategically by leaving C-USA in the late 90s to join the MWC and by upgrading facilities, talent, and attendance. Plus, it's academic standing puts every school in the SEC, save Vandy, to shame. The last 3 years, TCU has faired pretty well against all team they've played.

The truth of the matter is, TCU should have been in the BCS Championship game had the NCAA enforced its own rules. Cam Newton should have been ruled ineligible and forced to sit. Auburn would have lost to Bama for sure and probably South Carolina.

I wonder why the NCAA didn't use "STRICT LIABILITY" against Auburn as it did with Memphis.
