Putting aside the veracity of the Gruden info, if you believe the rumblings Tennessee is down to three or two.
So what happens if Gundy and Strong stay put?
I'm not one for conspiracy theories but there is .0001% of me that wonders if Hart's just setting the stage for Kirby Smart.
I think Strong takes the job if offered. Not so sure about Grundy. It's hard to pull a coach away from their alma mater.
Strong has all but said he's leaving Louisville. I wonder if he's just waiting to see if UT or Auburn make a better offer? So, I don't think we'll go any further down than that. And it seems like he's at the top of Hart's list for some reason, so it while we as fans may be settling, it doesn't look like Hart is. He's not interested in trying to land anyone better.

I don't. Read the first post again. It's entirely possible Strong is the first choice. Or someone else. Or even Gruden. Who knows?
Gundy to Arkansas seems done. If so then he could have gotten wind UT sealed the deal with Strong. Or someone else.

I feel more like a meth head who has been up for a week straight, reading the posts, all of the reports and rumors and just waiting for someone to accept the football HC job at Tennessee.:banghead2:
