We may discover that Hart is even more inept than Hamilton. The only way he shows any competent is if he hires Gruden. The reason is simple. It is the only way to explain (1) why it took Hart so long to fore Dooley and (2) why hart half-arsed this coaching search.

Vanderbilt football without question has passed by the University of Tennessee. Never thought I would see that.

What exactly is he supposd to do? Hold a gun to Gruden's head and force him to sign? Gruden said no. Everybody needs to get over it.

They have not passed us. Period.

They just made up a lap when we pulled in for a quick pit stop.

With how this entire process is being slow played I have this same fear. Its been well known that Hart was really big on hiring Smart during the season so he very well could be setting the stage to hire him now.

But if Aub is gonna hire him we will find out soon if this was Harts plan as he will have to scramble to actually start a real coaching search. It will be made clear if he intentionally botched interviews if after the Aub announcement we start hearing of him conducting lots of interviews with a list of coaches other than those we have been hearing. I mean obviously he will do a couple but if we suddenly start getting solid, confirmed info on him interviewing a BUNCH of new coaches we haven't heard mentioned then something was up.

I dont think it will be smart.. who knows though it is possible. I dont think it will be fedora either.. I am not sure fedora would pull a kiffin.

We're broke after Fulmer/Dooley payoffs. Big money has abandon Hart after going rogue. We going to get the budget hire.

If that happens then you have to take Petrino, I don't like it, but you gotta do it under those circumstances.

Can we go further down the list? We are already at new HC's in weak schools. I think that is officially the end of the list
