All Vols will be allowed to pull for Bama against Florida IF, AND ONLY IF, all Vols pull for Bama against Arkansas.
Totally agree, we need to pull for Bama against Florida. Plus Bama's fans have more class than Florida's. The florida's fans act like have a long standing tradition in college football. Just hearing them talk you would think that they have as much tradition as Notre Dame, Alabama or U.S.C.Absolutely I will pull for Alabama. Tennessee's season is helped by them beating the Gators. People need to grow up and realize Tennessee winning the SEC east is more important than hatred for Bama.
Bama is still our biggest rival, but it isnt the team we need to lose the most.
Great question VolunteerHillybily. History shows that the loser of the SEC Championship never goes to a BCS Bowl. In 2001 we lost to LSU in the SEC championship we went to the Citrus Bowl and beat Michigan. Then in 2004 we lost to Auburn in the SEC Champinship game. That year we went to the Cotton Bowl and beat Texas A&M. Last year LSU lost to Georgia in the SEC championship gme. LSU then went to Peach Bowl and beat Miami.Question: Do the Vols have a better chance getting to a BCS game by being 11-1 on the outside of the SECCSG or getting to ATL to face AU?
If Tennssee goes 11-1 and come in second the sec east. They will be in a BCS Bowl.Great question VolunteerHillybily. History shows that the loser of the SEC Championship never goes to a BCS Bowl. Weird, all three of those games were blowouts as well. 45-17, 38-7, 40-3.Great question VolunteerHillybily. History shows that the loser of the SEC Championship never goes to a BCS Bowl. I'd say being on the outside. The wins over Cal, Georgia and LSU are always impressive. Assuming Florida heads to Atlanta and we don't, I'd pull for Florida State to beat the Gators. That and Boise State and TCU to lose games, to clear up at-large bids.Question: Do the Vols have a better chance getting to a BCS game by being 11-1 on the outside of the SECCSG or getting to ATL to face AU?
I realize that you'll say we lost to Florida, but we proved that Leak isn't worth a crap under a heavy pass rush....When you rush him, he makes stupid mistakes....He threw what should have been 2 INT's right to the DB and LB....One of which got returned for a TD....So I think if you guys pressure Leak, you guys have a very good chance of staying in that gameGonna be a looooong day in the swamp. We MUST control the TOP and have a healthy ground attack to come out alive. After the BEATDOWN in T-Town last year, I am hoping ol Urbie comes out slingin'. The hounds of hell will be coming after Leak and he WILL make mistakes. If we capatalize, we are home free, but we have to pound the rock. I expect Hall and Brown to have big numbers, and if the ground game is on, we will come out a winner.
you know, something to consider here, last year, after the TN/UF game, i think everyone knew that if you got to Leak, you could beat UF...we did, plenty. we just killed ourselves when we had the ball....Gonna be a looooong day in the swamp.
