We play UK and prepare for another long off season. It is what it is.

What we do every year at this time...wait till next year.

+. We get excited about signing day in February...but we lose some key recruit(s)...

Then we get all hyped up over Spring Practice, Early Enrollees...and start making predictions for an undefeated season for "Team 118"

THEN...during the Orange & White game we see "streaks of brilliance" but LOTS of "Freshman mistakes"

And...THEN...fall camp gives us more hope, more clarity on who will start...and we trounce our first cupcake or two...

Followed by being EMBARRASSED by Oklahoma and everyone else on our schedule next year of any importance...and we'll hear how it's because "we are playing so many Freshman"... And we'll be better next year with the NEXT class of recruits...

THAT^^^ is what has happened just about every "star" over to the left <<< under my avatar???and even a few more years than that...

But...I'll be here 'cause I LOVE Tennessee Football. But I REALLY HATE what it has become...

Another losing season. Followed by a 7-6 type season.....then after that we find out if Jones was a good hire or the hire that finally killed UT football.

Year 4 is the year. Barring a disastrous 2-10 type season he isn't going anywhere until then.

That 2-10 could happen

A whole new Oline and Dline with a ton of freshman just learning the college game. Coupled with our lack of play calling capabilities

Its not looking good for UT football

Man, we fell hard

I think we need some changes in the staff.........but the again I'm not sure I'd want anyone that would contemplate coming here. Quite the situation we find ourselves in.

The problem (and reality) is that people look at the last 4 years and insist that Butch has to win. You can't blame Butch for Dooley's failures. Butch has done more in 11 months than Dooley did in 3 years. Lets see where he goes from here. But Butch had nothing to do with the last 3 years. Our program had the chance to move forward last year with all of the offensive talent and Dooley failed us. Lets see what happens.

They should man up and hand him his walking papers. Looking at 1-11 for next season.

and I mean this....so now what does Tennessee do? I for one think that Butch has what it takes to bring UT back...but it is going to take a few years...so now what happens?

we ***** and moan about losing to Vandy--hopefully win against KY...then see if this staff holds on to the #2 recruiting class.....

And then hope against the empirical evidence gathered from this season that these coaches can take our players and win 8 games next year......and get ready to ***** (gripe) some more when it doesn't happen.....

Sorry, guys, but this loss is disheartening on SOOOOO many levels--and wreaks more than ANY game of the last 3 years because I expected CBJ to be better than this....He had 2 weeks to get ready--and this is his result??

D played well enough to win until that last drive--and we stunk it up, again.....And from my perspective, the officials made the correct call in awarding Vandy the first down....

What's interesting to note is that the very same situation occurred in the aTm and LSU game--and the officials didn't overturn what was obviously a first down by LSU in the 1st QTR....

Really? We will have young talent next year. Utah State, Arkansas State, Chattanooga, and some other winnable league games at home. Geez. Our fans really are miserable.

Pray this recruiting season ends as well as it has gone thus far. Hope for a win next week and then wait for signing date.

One more thing that needs to be done in the offseason. Get the returning players strong enough to play with physicality needed to compete in the sec. Right now, we are a weak sister and it shows on gameday.

Utah State is a pretty good team...UT will have their hands full on that one...it's winnable, but it's just as "lose-able"

He will have what it takes to compete in the SEC when he stops playing Big East ball, fires Bajakian, and puts coaching skills before his salesmanship skills.. Damn i miss CPF.

I predict a win over KY, a roller coaster leading up to signing day, then an entire off-season of predicting 9 or 10 wins followed by "butch gets it"
