Such a small thing to make a big deal about. I suppose they dislike us as much as we them. Motivation. Win you don’t have to be concerned about politics coming into play.

Spoiler alert. South Carolina played the spoiler. It would have been nice to see what Banks could have done to change the score.

What’s the cut off for who votes?

Edit: Our rankings ranged from 4-8.
Pitt ranked us 4 and Nevada ranked us 8 and maybe one other 8 vote.
Nevada lol

TCU should have dropped out of the top 10. Georgia's kicker had to ice his leg down from kicking so many extra points

It seems that most coaches kept the playoff teams in their top 4. There was some discussion by the talking heads about that being the “correct” approach although I don’t agree. Both Michigan and TCU should have dropped out of the top 4 IMO.

Oh absolutely, they looked like butt.. the way I see it is could other teams under TCU and Michigan possibly given Georgia a more competitive game? I’m going to guess yes lol

They should have.

We don’t deserve to be ranked ahead of Bama.
They lost two games by three points in the two most hostile environments on the planet.

We, on the other hand…… 63.
I don’t know why people have a hard time grasping that.

And - they beat a damn good Kstate team like they stole aomething.
We beat clemsuck. - and yes clemson sucks - they lost to scar too.

Note to self - thy shall not be blown to smithereens by a less than team of that magnitude and expect to be viewed favorably.

However… there is the fact that we beat them head to head, so we are better. End of discussion. you put us against K St. we destroy them by more. They’re the big 12 champ… let’s take a look at how successful any of the big 12 teams were in post season… it’ll take us about 2 seconds….

My opinion is that that Banks should not have caused the problems prior to the game that destroyed the focus of the defensive and offensive units. Guess we will never know exactly what happened, but the defense we put on the field wasn't in that game and was horrible!

Yeah, beating teams head to head should have no merit.

I have a funny feeling Bama is circling the UT game this year...They will have a lot of young talent, so hopefully we can pull off another W down there...
Pretty sure we have that one circled every year for the last 100 years

So recency bias counts during the season, but not during bowls… got it, 😂 It’s just like they voted for their favorites and slighted the teams they really don’t like

So we should give our win over Alabama back? According to your theory that is exactly what we should do. KState is not on the level of Clemson.

Bama is always gonna get the Bama Bump, usually it is in calls in their favor on the field, where it makes a difference.

Our solution to solve all this next year is pretty basic. Whip all their asses, badly, so that they have no choice but to vote Vols No. 1 with a Natty. As Conan said, "Drive our enemies before us and hear the lamentations of their women!" Or as Josh Pray says, "Tennessee 3:16: The Vols done whipped your ass."

This is precisely why a 12 team playoff won't be any better than the crap we have now.

What we need is to do away with conferences and go European soccer league style relegation. No more cupcake games and if you are at the bottom of the "A" league, you drop down. At the top of the "B" league... you move up. Top 16 play for a championship
