i belive that they said when he walked on that they would give him a scolly his sophmore season ,he might turn out to be awesome, but number 1 why its a bad idea is it takes a scolly away from another player that could be a difference maker 2 is he can get grants and atleast 90 percent of collage paid for and 3 he lives so close to knoxville he can drive slow and get on campus in 20 to 25 minuets and when i was in highschool i played for powell valley which now is no more because they built a new school 14 miles up the road calling it cumberland gap and skylar played for grainger county when i played from 85 to 88 they were called rutledge then built a new school a few miles away and living in tennessee i was always a fan even though my dad and high school princepal were always trying to convert me to a ky fan and it would or couldnt happen i learned everything i know from my former coach former vol pg rodney woods who had ut and sec assist records for years because he played with king and grunfield and mike jackson to name a few plus my schools colors were orange and white with some black trim and our 2 biggest rivals wore blue and white ,so skyler i know you grew up a ut fan and dreamed about playing for them so take the student loans and pale grants and the others you can get we are graduating 6 or 7 this year but if we get tobias that will be 4 more on scolly and i think that is all were signing unless a topnotch recruit that decides to come here instead of were they were going. its off subjectbut with pinkston ,mcrae, golden and hopefully tobias if shelby hadnot decommitted was committed for 9 months then decommitted there should be a rule in collage basketball that a player has to sit out a year if they commit then decommit because with so few players when you get a big time commit you stop recruiting the ware kid from georgia his dad told him not to commit and then change his mind because it makes a person look bad i think he was thinking about shelby when he said that

why even add this, go for the gold man.

He hasn't hit the few shots he has had in the games so far, but the stroke is still there, and he has been aggressive on defense. I am very happy so far. It's his second game as a true freshman walk on. Man, tough crowd.

You must be the guy whose nose I broke in 1988 with a right elbow coming down with a rebound. I'm sure you remember that. By the way is Mr. Green Jeans still living and raising H*!! at the game like he did back then. Dude you really should think before you post next time. That post was horrible and embarrassment to your former school and teachers. BTW, I personally know Skylar and his family and a "Pale" grant as you call it is not an option, and it spelled "Pell"

Pale grant, I'm gonna use that one in the future. It may be kind of fitting if we give him a scholly next year.

I don't wish the kid ill will, but I just don't see how he compares to the other guys on the floor.

He's not as athletic, but we can always use a good shooter. He will be fine when he gets past early game gitters.

He could be good coming off the bench but I'm guessing Pearl is banking on Hopson staying another year. With 2 SGs coming in (1 playing the point possible) and a 5 * point coming in next year, we should be pretty good in that aspect.
