No, we can sign 25 kids & get them into UT. We can sign 1 extra (26) & count them back to last years class since we only got 24 into UT in the '10 class. Then the staff will oversign with 1 or 2 kids they know wont make it in & place them in a JUCO or Prep school then re-recruit them for next years class.
Kind of semantics concering Loften. If he makes it in January, I suppose he counts as a last-year recruit. If he doesn't, then we can back count one against last year. Carmichael and Dunaway look like great prospects to sign and place. Give them a year at Hargrave and see how they progress in the classroom and on the field.

Is that a "sign and place"? How exactly does that work? A school signs them, when they know they don't have the room?
So if we indeed sign and place I doubt the chances are very high they resign with UT..
I hate the Houston Nutt signing limit rule. It really screws over programs like us that are trying to get back to full strength. If we have 85 scholarships to give any given year, it should be up to us on how we delegate those. Capping a limit on a signing class is socialist.

The chances are very high imo. The majority seem to handle the classes and pass the required course load and stick with the school that placed them or encouraged them to go to the prep or junior college. While I don't have any idea of the exact %, I am going to say 70 - 80%.
