ok??
This specific thread consisted of questioning of whether or not there was or wasn't a 5star secret visitor, who it was (if there was one), and if the expert (JMoore) believed it happened and if he believed we would get the "secret visitor's" signature on signing day.
The next step was people, including me and others , voiced our own opinions on the matter. Some said there was no secret visitor while others said there was...strictly opinion. Poster Phillip Fulmer also voiced his own opinion when he said he thinks (his own opinion) that UT will obtain a 5* high school football player on NSD. PF was just stating his opinion on a topic that was brought up earlier in the thread. So there....I simplified it for you so you could understand what is happening in this thread and avoid any other further confusions. :salute:
We def. need one more DT. However, I think Dooley and staff didn't have the relationships in the JUCO ranks like they will have next year. Also, with Miller moving to DT and having Jackson there, DT looks good with Couch, Jackson, Hughes, Miller, and Walls. Then at DE you have Smith, Bohannon, Martin, Williams and can interchange Jackson and Miller if need be.
It'll be 2 out of: Dawson, Pagan, Wright, and Morris. I hope it's Wright and Pagan. I think it'll be Pagan and Morris.
Also, if Lanier, Jackson, and Paul committed tonight, we'd probably be at #12 in Rivals.
Looks like Jackson, Paul, & Lanier are going to be Vols, throw in Clear & A. Richardson who are going to also be Vols then that will leave us with only 2 spots left.
IMO we close with Dawson & Wright.
Recruits Were Still Very Much In With:
DL-Pagan
DL-Drew (IMO is all Dawg)
DL-M. Johnson (IMO LSU is the team to beat)
LB-Dunaway (Would be a Vol if the staff wanted him, could be a sign & place guy)
DB-Moore Jr. (IMO will stay on the West Coast)
DB-Loften (Have no confidence in him qualifying)
RB-Bigelow (IMO Cal is the team to beat)
RB-Morris (Best chance at a RB, will visit in Jan.)
TE-Rome (IMO is all Dawg)
Also to add before all they greyshirting talk gets started, Hubbs said today he does'nt think Dooley will ask anyone to greyshirt. If he oversigns it will be with guys he knows will need to go to Prep or JUCO.
Yes Greg Clark is from Warrner Robins and he is on the team. He is red shirting and Hubbs said he will have ot make strides in the off-season but I wouldn't call him someone who will never contribute quite yet. GBO
ya, let's not forget the mystery 5* visitor...
also, I have the same thoughts about AR moving to DT. Offensive line is starting to get crowded.

You know Ambles was recruiting pretty hard for us at one time. See how that turned out. I can see a kid commiting pretty early, and really intending to stick it out only to realize his best position is loaded with young talent at said school...say LB?
if FSU has another coaching change then that example would work.
We don't "basically have 2 spots left" there's too much time between now and NSD.... all this is assumption.
If 1 or 2 coaches get fired alot of things can happen. Don't get wrapped up into all these "Vol locks" either.
I didn't mean it was a perfect comparison. I am just putting forth a reason why a super secret stealth ninja megaladon 5* LB would possibly change his mind late in the game. But I agree if it was a go the staff probably would't be still going after Dawson.
Honestly, I'm getting to the point where I might rather have a defensive end than a defensive tackle. If Jackson and Miller are both moving inside, we only have four guys left at DE (Martin, Smith, Bohannon, Williams), and one of them is a senior.
At tackle, on the other hand, we have 6 (Hughes, Walls, Jackson, Miller, Couch, Carson), only one of whom is a senior, without even including some of the other guys in the rotation whose contributions going forward are open to question (Ayres, Jeffrey). Doesn't end seem like the bigger need now?
I'm hoping for Dawson and Pagan (Drew would be wonderful, but Pagan is more realistic).
Anybody know whats up with Jeffrey...are they just giving him plenty of rest and recovery time. Do they think he will recover and be a contributor...he was so highly rated, if he can come along it would be huge!
