Clubbed a puppy.
Exactly. At some point you gotta be thinking "Why did we even schedule this weak of a cupcake game?" This was like playing a high school football team or practicing against D squad. I just wasn't impressed.

I understand the principle behind cupcakes but personally, I would rather see a little better opponent. Hell, Vandy could have probably put up fifty on them.

Any improvement or weak opponent

Personally, I am astonished and concerned over the lack of pre-snap discipline this late into the season. Every single game this year, I believe we have had stupid penalties that seem to be entirely due to a lack of discipline and/or communication. On both sides of the ball. These are unacceptable self-inflicted wounds. And these penalties continue. I’m not talking about the 2s and 3s who rarely play—I am talking about our starters. I haven’t counted them from each game but I would bet Indian money that we are one of the most penalized teams in the SEC, if not the entire country.

I am not referring to live-action penalties with possible bias by the refs, home cooking, etc. I am talking about pre-snap infractions like not knowing where to line up, who’s doing what and where, jumping offsides, etc. As we all can see, some of these are very costly to us. No excuse whatsoever for us to be playing with such a lack of discipline this late in the season.

Let’s see how many we have at Missouri.

I see we have folks in this thread with the normal - the opponent was bad so we are bad even though we beat them mentality. So when we beat Missouri next week - we'll hear about how they are now really bad since they have 3 losses. And then when we beat UGA, we'll hear about how they really weren't that good. Some are so predictable.

Thing is - we beat this team like we should have beat this team and many players got to play in the game. It has not been very long since we didn't do that.

Penalties and not getting off the field on 3rd down were the bugaboos again, but it really was a name your score kind of game. Milton was sharp, hitting receivers in stride, and Wright and Sampson were great. The defense gave up a lot of yards, but three defensive scores speaks for itself. Nico looked very good in his two series - he will be a monster with another 10-15 lbs.
Buy that man some steak-umms

Uconn is ranked #129 out of 133 teams. Why anyone got any excitement out of that game is puzzling
