So what does the win against Memphis do for recruiting?

Alot of the guys you are calling second team aren't in the two deep rotation and get very few live practice reps. To say they are "awful" is premature. They weren't as prepared as the staff can get them if they were getting 1st team reps in practice... witness the transformation of Frazier and others who have had to step up because of injuries.

I absolutely agree that we need Atlanta more than Memphis. If you listened to Kiffin's press conference this afternoon you heard him say the same things I posted above.

It does help recruiting that Crompton is looking much better and then responding to a direct question about how bad our second team defense looked he said that it does anger him and it is not acceptable but that it does help recruiting. He said that recruits see who we are losing and when they watch the guys play who might be in front of them, they can tell their help is needed.

The only thing I could possibly see this win doing is showcasing our offense and showing how desperately we need defensive players to build depth.
