Just looking over team rankings in individual categories and it's hard to get a bead on them.

#24 ranked rushing defense is really good, it's actually higher than Bama's. They have the #64 ranked passing defense which is pretty bad, but I've heard their secondary is supposed to be really good.

They seem to give up around 21-27 points in every game, except they gave up 49 (yikes) to LSU.

I thought they had a really good RB too, along with Cook being able to run, but they are ranked #76 in rushing offense.

So I'm confused. Aside from throwing, where are they a really good team, and what should we be worried about?

I'd say their place kicker is really good lol

They are pretty good for 57 minutes in Athens.

They are also pretty good at gettin’ dey asses whipped by Josh Heupel at home and away.

Vols by Fiddy.

— to answer your question, they are good all around, not elite anywhere. Their D will give up 40+ and Vols win by 21.

They have a solid QB, a strong RB in Schrader, two wide receivers who are pretty tough in Burden and Lee, a solid DL, and their kicker is a big boy who can kick it a long way. I wouldn't say the other areas of the team suck or anything but those are the stand out positions to me from what I have seen of them.

Good at QB, ok at WR, defense is their strength, IMO. Hopper, Robinson, and Abrams-Draine are legit NFL talents.

I don't think we have anyone in our secondary that can cover Burden. He may lead the SEC is catches or yards, not sure. Pressure on their QB will be very important in this one. Hope Banks has some blitz surprises up his sleeve.
You get a little too far upfield with those blitzs and Cook will pick up 25 yds in a hurry.

He will be against Tennessee. The dude last yr missed what was an extra Pt to lose to Auburn. Then hits a 62 yder to beat KState.

Fla missed a chip shot vs Ark Sat but remember when Fla kicker hit his first FG, a 50 yder, to beat Tennessee?

Burden is listed as questionable this week. No doubt he'll give it a go but could be limited

QB, Stadium, Administration, Head Coach, offensive line.

What you describe could easily look vanilla in a total stats sheet, if teams are shutting down either the rushing or the passing game, and then getting beat by the other. That would produce strong wins that average out on the stats sheet.

I'm gonna guess they've looked very closely to our tape against Kentucky, where we picked our poison and managed not to succumb to it.

Mizzou isn’t bad anywhere but they’re not great at anything either. Fairly balanced offensively. They can be run on thou. I think the offense can explode against them as they will probably cheat some to stop the run (first team Vols have played that has tried this) and get exposed with the passing game.

They have allowed some mediocre QBs to have good games against them. If Joe keeps improving and plays like he has their secondary is in trouble. I am vastly more concerned with our secondary. If our pass rush is as stagnant as it has been, we are in deep trouble.
