So who’s going to be coaching USC next season?

I always laugh at these responses. You obviously cared enough to open the thread and respond.
Just cause someone reads and or posts doesn't mean they care. I'm an old man and have hated USCw as long as I can remember. I just checked in hoping the school was closing. I'm curious not caring.

I can see James Franklin taking that job. The natives are restless.

When the going gets tough, James seems like the kind of guy who quickly exits left.

Or, if Bama goes down, I can still see one last move for Saban. He could double his money and his wife shop on Rodeo Drive. Nicky quirky like that.

Helton was never truly embraced by their fans. He was on both Kiffin and Sarkisian's staffs, and a bunch of them wanted to start totally fresh when Sark was fired. He almost lost his job early in 2016 but got off the hot seat when they won out and won the Rose Bowl, but I think they've figured out now that he and his staff can't really coach and Sam Darnold made them look really good.

As I recall, Helton was a guy that Memphis passed on...lol!

He'll get some looks at some big time programs* this year IMO. Guy is a winner

* 'Cuse is by no means a bad program, quite the opposite really.
He ought to. And if he doesn’t bolt for a major program then I think he’ll continue to make Syracuse better
