still has a while to go, unless the thread's just about guessing a few or more years down the line

You are correct. What if that jackwagon sees that he won't be beating lsu and bama, and is currently behind sc, with tn creeping back up and bolts his yelling ass back to texas?

Ohhh man I'd give anything to see him Lane Kiffin the Florida program. That would be the single best thing in the world to see him bolt for greener pastures.

If he promises to take Jabba Weis with him, he can leave today.

Im ok with Muschamp. If muschamp were to leave and Weis took over at Florida, I would be done with Florida football until they canned him.

I think you could hire a trained chimpanzee to be the head coach at Texas and still win 8 ballgames a year. That revolving door of 5-star recruits ought to be enough to cover up most coaching deficiencies. How that team went 5-7 last year is beyond me.

lol. Fair enough. It's okay that he runs the offense but I'd pretty much feel pitty for Florida fans if he took over the whole team. For our sanity too, we do NOT want to look at Weis either!

How pleased were you with UF's offense the past two seasons?

Texas won fewer games than we did last season. On our third coach in three seasons, with 70 scholarship players, playing a billion freshmen, in the SEC. It's confounding to say the least.

Not very.

Ive never been happy with a revolving quarterback position. Especially when you give away your plays by the personnel you have in the game.

I wont repeat what I said in the other thread, but my problems with Jabba go back a long ways, and I would give up a lot to get rid of him.

If this were Major League Baseball I would trade him for a bag of balls. At least then our offense would have some.

Well said...and spot on, in my opinion of course. Once Texas targets a recruit, they never seem to lose them to someone else.

One of the other posters already mentioned Gary Patterson at TCU. I don't think he'd leave Ft. Worth, but he'd be a great fit.

Regardless, whomever they chose needs to address this sense of entitlement UT players (as in the University of Texas) seem to have.
