So who wins the east?

Their D is not that good. They're playing a Gurley less UGA and have given up at least 27.

Their defense has been on the field almost the entire game, as well, with how much their offense has turned over the ball and gone 3 and out.

UGA's got at least a quarter's worth more on time of possession.

Thanks for strengthening my point, UGA has possession time advantage because Mizzou D does not stop them. After their front 4, they suck.

Looking at the schedule, Kentucky could easily arrive in Knoxville next month with the same number of wins that they have today.

Check the time stamp on my post. It was about 6-0 in the 2nd quarter when I posted that. :)

No worries. I have seen so many of my thoughts on this division change within minutes after thinking them. Currently, I think we are all really bad. If UGA has Gurley, they are decent.

They also threw 4 picks and fumbled in the first 3 quarters.

That's more of the point I was going for there, along with the quick 3 and outs.

Missouri's possession time by QTR:

4 drives for 5 min in the first (3 and out, INT on the 3rd play, INT on the 2nd play, 5 plays and out).

4 drives for about 5:30 min in the second (a 3 and out, a 3 and out, 3 plays and a fumble).

2 drives for about 4 min in the 3rd (2 plays and an INT, 7 plays and an INT)

Then UGA just started grinding out the clock after that INT and just flat out running the ball with 5 min left in the 3rd quarter.

(before that point Missouri's defense had been out there for about 25 min to their offense's about 15 min...Chubb also only had about 70 yards near the end of the 3rd; his next 74 came in their last 18 minutes of possession - their possession time in the last 5 min of the third quarter and the fourth quarter.)

(Up until then though UGA's drives had gone - 4:30 FG, 1:00, 3:30 FG, 4:42 TD, 3:30 TD, 50 seconds, 1:30 - half - 3 min, 2 min. Then they started to grind out the clock - 4:50 TD, 6:23 TD, 6:30 game ends)

2 drives for about 3 min in the 4th (3 and out, 3 and out).

Chubb's going to get all the media attention here, but UGA's defense (and Missouri's [lack] of offense) is what really led to that and got the win here.

sounds homerish but ill wait and see treon before i write us off completely

but the east is that weak that he could be a difference maker in these games assuming he can throw it

I think they're pretty much going to have to beat LSU to still be in it though.

Unless you're banking on UGA losing not only to Auburn but Arkansas/UK as well.

Yall should beat USC and Mizzou, tougher game at Ole Miss and vs Bama but a definite W @ Vandy...UK may be the best (closest) game left on y'all's schedule.

Depends on how the oline holds up against those teams.

UT's giving up the 7th most sacks in FBS (and having a bad habit of a fumble/int turning into a TD that helps the other team win the closer games).

I think that's UK's best chance, all year their defense has been able to generate interceptions off pressuring the QB.
