I think we all know that Ricky is most likely going to win this but my girl Valerie made it to the finals so that's awesome.

The Jessica camel toe was an interesting addition to this episode.

This routine was sick but I have to say Zach seems to hit harder than Ricky.

Why? Don't like the show anymore? I'm not overly fond of the new format, but I enjoy some of the performances. I think Fox is handicapping it with the format they were forced to use this year of only one show a week.

I love the show, i just miss how it used to be. It just feels really rushed.

The format isn't much different from last year. Truth be told nobody wants to sit through an hour long results show. This show, AGT, American Idol, The Voice, they're typically all the same where everyone for the most part fast forwards through most of the show to the final results. Even American Idol this year cut their results show down to just a half hour which is perfect imo. I suppose SYTYCD could do the same.

You sure it's not just because it was the finale and had all the best dances on it so it seemed like it went by much quicker?

Remind me because it's been a couple years at least since they changed the format. How often did they use to do the solos?

They used to always have bottom 4 solos on elimination night. Then they went to one night and had them "dance for their lives" around 75% of the time. This year they pretty much cut them out till final 8 or so.

Season 6 was the beginning of it all I think. They put it in the fall instead of summer and took a beating in the ratings, the next year IIRC was when it went to one episode a week. Its just so jammed together now. I used to get emotionally invested in the dancers, Twitch, Kent, Russell, Will, Courtney, etc. It felt much more personal like you were on the journey with them, now they feel like dancing robots almost. There's no, how to say it, personality building. No really getting to see who they are in interview segments and solos. I take dancing way to serious. Lol To me dancing someone else's stuff is cool, but solos are where you see a persons true spirit and passion for dance.

They're coming to Knoxville as part of the tour, but the cheapest tickets are still like $50. Too rich for me in this economy.

Season 3 too. Danny Tidwell is the best technical dancer the show has ever had. IMO
